Typical Love Story... Not - Chapter 7

Another vampire stepped forward, drawing my attention to her. She was very slim and very tall. She had short light brown hair that ended before it touched her shoulders with hazel eyes that tracked every movement in the room.

"And my name is Emily. I like to think of myself as a very important member of this coven, but really, I'm just here. Nothing special." She shrugged, showing that she really didn't mind.

"Nice to meet you." I said. Well this was getting boring... I wonder how many others would give little speeches when they introduced themselves. I hope the rest would just say their names. I honestly didn't so much care about that anymore.

As if he read my mind, a guy spoke up.

"Well as fun as these 10 minute introductions are, lets just stick to names." His voice was deep and oh my god, hot.

I looked over at him. And he was as attractive as his voice. He had chocolate brown hair that had a skater type style to it. He had dark green eyes that you could loose yourself in. He was pretty tall and had some nice muscle to him.

"Oh yeah? And what's your name then?" I asked, putting out as much attitude as possible. I wasn't even over Emil, even if he was dead, I so was not going to get close to any of these guys.

"Marc." He replied, eyes raking over my body, checking me out. Seriously?

"That's nice," I said my voice full of sarcasm. I scanned the rest of the room, pointedly looking away from this Marc guy. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Ace smirk. What is with guys and smirking? It makes me want to wipe it of their faces no matter how hot they are. Wait, why am I thinking about his looks in the first place?! Gahh, this is insanity. I mentally shook myself.

"Well, if we are done here, and there are no more important people that I need to know about, you can show me a room now." Looking away from the other vampires I hadn't been introduced to yet, I glanced at Alemeda who looked at me with an amused look in her light green eyes.

"Oh you're something Celina," she said, shaking her head. "I'll have some one show you the room you can stay in. But please do consider staying in our coven."

What just happened? Did Celina just ... just ignore me? Wow, it's been a while since there was a girl to refuse me like that. But I never liked things easy. I figured since Celina was old and powerful as she was, she wouldn't allow herself to be treated poorly anyways.

So when Alemeda told her some one could show her a spare room, I stepped forward quickly before anyone else could.

"I'll show you where you can stay." I offered casually, flashing her a smile, before quickly wiping it off.

She just glanced at me.

"No thanks." She looked so uninterested. Seriously? I was just trying to be nice. "Scarlet, you can show me instead," She told that girl. How did she know Scarlett? But I looked over and saw Ace sulking. What the fuck? Did pretty boy over there have a crush? Oh this just makes the whole game so much more interesting.

Scarlett nodded at Celina and they left the main room, heading up the stairs.

Sorry, i realize this is really short, but I felt like poop all week lols and i was having a crisis because my phone broke and i felt so out of it ! By the way, happy thanksgiving to anyone that celebrates it !!
