Dearest Love,
You will never receive this letter.
And that is where She stops, that is where She always stops. The humans deem this to be therapeutic, like sharing your secrets without the consequences but there is consequences. If She were to write how She feels then She will be admitting to Herself that those feelings are real. She thinks of him often, his dazzling blue eyes that would put the oceans to shame, his hair short and brown yet in the sun shines like gold, his smile so bright the sun wishes it could shine so. She knows She can't have this feelings for a mortal, for his safety.
This wasn't the Earth anymore this was now their playground. One day Her and three siblings, while they were extremely bored, took over the Earth and it's people. The Gods weren't as dead as some thought and they proved it.
Her three siblings were so ruthless it destroyed most of humanity leaving small pockets mainly used for entertainment. She didn't once interfere even though every nerve in Her body hummed with the injustice. She knew She was as bad as them for the simple reason; She didn't voice her objections. She didn't once stop any wrong doing Her siblings took part in. She knew She was as much to blame for the downfall of man kind as much as Her three brutal siblings.
They weren't the original Gods but rather their long distant offspring. Offspring that had been rejected by their divine parents. The reason for the rejection was never stated to the siblings but how it had left them bitter. Her elder sister, Juni, was the goddess of darkness and despair. Her two older brothers, Keahi and Makis, were the twin gods of anger and fear. They were devastating, gloriously devastating. She was placed with them as a child to hopefully keep the siblings balanced for justice and hope is mighty even by itself. It surprised all the divine when She allowed them to do this.
