Spock x reader

Chapter 5

Once you got back to your room you collapsed onto your bed exhausted after the conversation you just had with Spock as well as the shock of realising your new feelings towards him due to his kindness that he presented to you in that conversation.

He understood your desire to keep it a secret and also learned of your support from Bones and Uhura through out your time on the ship and how much they meant to you. It felt weird being that open to the commander for you but it felt like you actually came closer in that one conversation than you had in the month of spending time alone massaging him.

You suddenly realised that you didn't know how he would be during your appointment tomorrow. Would he be his normal self or more open like today. You secretly hoped for the later as you tried to burry your feelings for him not wanting them to affect your work as you fell asleep.

You woke up later than normal but you weren't worried as you weren't expected back at work till tomorrow thanks to Bones pulling some strings to get you the time of to rest and deal with the commander.

You checked your PADD to see a message from Uhura that came through a short time before you woke up:

Y/n I need to see you in the mess hall for dinner today urgently. Spocks been asking about you again every chance he's got this morning on the bridge.

I read the message and quickly replied to ask her not to invite Bones and instead I would get lunch and if she could meet me at my room for us to talk. She accepted but seemed suspicious you wanted to keep it from Bones. Non the less you bought lunch for the top of you and a short time after you new her lunch had started you heard a knock at your door.

"Come in!" You called cautiously making sure it was Uhura that walked in. Your let out a breath you didn't know you were holding when she walked in. "Lock the door. I'll get the food." You said as she gave you a weird look but locked the door and sat in front of where you put the food.

"Ok what's going on. Your acting weird" she said giving you a suspicious look as you sat down opposite her.

"Well.. promise you won't tell Bones what I'm about to tell you first" she rolled her eyes at you but nodded agreeing. "Spock knows that I'm part Vulcan"

Her fork stops mid movement to her mouth with the food as she stared at you with wide eyes.
"What do you mean he knows!" She whisper yelled at you concern all over her face.

"No no no it's ok. It was an accident that he found out yes but he's said he won't tell anyone and respects my decision." She gave you a sceptical look.

"If you says so. But what do you mean it was a accident how did he find out?" She said cautiously.

"I accidentally cut my cheek while I was at his office and some of my blood had fallen on the floor with out me noticing." You said looking down from you own neglect thinking about it but also not wanting to tell her how he had stroked your hair back while you were asleep in your office.

She nodded understandingly and seemed content with your answer. "Well as long as he won't tell anyone and your ok with him knowing that's fine. I'll keep my eye on him either way just to be sure. But why haven't you told Bones?" She said giving you a look of internet as she knew you told him everything.

"Well..... I don't want him to get all protective over me with Spock..." you said your cheeks turning slightly red as you tried to hid your blush at wanting to keep your closeness free from Bones medaling for a little while longer before he got involved. Uhura could clearly see your reaction and a smirk spread across her face as she placed her fork down on her now empty plate.

"So you and commander Spock are close?" She said with a knowing tone causing you to look up in shock at realising she knew something was up.

"Not really close close just..." you said trying to avoid the question as you tucked some hairs behind your ear while your cheeks turned pink at the thought of being close with Spock.

"O my god you do like him!" She exclaimed as she saw the look on your face and your reaction to her question.

"No! No no no" you quickly said springing up from your seat.

She laughed at your quick reaction to deny what she had said. "O this is good. So how long has this been going on?" She asked smirking while leaning back in her chair. Crossing her arms and legs.

You stood ringing your hands together realising you couldn't hid it from her. "I only realised after are conversation yesterday when thinking about why I had let him know with out to much of a fight." You said sighing and sat down on your bed. She moved to sit next to you.

"Then this will be interesting. Besides it may just be nothing and your feelings are just confused because of the past week." She saw the time. "I better get back to the bridge but don't worry I won't tell Bones and I'll try not to laugh when ever I see you talking to the commander" she said sarcastically as your cheeks blushed lightly. Then she gave you a reassuring hug before leaving you for the rest of the afternoon to relax while occasionally sending you teasing messages and secret photos of him while adding a flirty caption to mess with you.

You had your bag already and had just finished your hair before putting on your boots and left your room and to make it to Spocks office. You were almost at the office when You revived a message on your PADD. You kept walking as you took it out of your bag pretty much in front of the office as you read the message that was from Uhura:

'Bones found out that Spock knows' was all you were able to read of the message before you heard a bang from inside the office. You dropped your PADD on the floor not caring if it smashed or not as you flung the door open to the office running in. What you saw made your eyes go wide.

The office was trashed. Bones had scattered all of Spocks papers onto the floor and you saw Spock with what seemed to be broken nose in extremely close proximity to Bones.

Spock seemed to be taking all the punches Bones was throwing without fighting back. Bones was pulling his fist back for another hit and you body moved on its own. You knew that you were stronger than Bones due to your Vulcan strength but not as strong as Spock.

You grabbed hold of his fist just before it hit Spock in the face again. They both looked at you with there eyes like saucers.

Spock tried to say something to you causing Bones to push you away to stop you listening but due to his anger he pushed you harder than he meant to and you ended up on the floor.

"Y/n.... I didn't mean to.." Bones said his face white after seeing you gingerly push your self into a more sitting position with a death glare locked on him. He quickly took a few steps back to move away from you scared of what you might do.

You quickly stood up and looked at Spock quickly still full of anger but trying to controls it for the moment.

"Spock please go wait for me in my office and wait there so I can see to your face.  don't tell any of the nurses anything just say I told you to go there." Spock could hear the anger in your voice and simply nodded as he walked out of his office closing the door as he went. You fully focused your anger on Bones who was even more scared now. He had seen you angry before but it hadn't been directed at him before. "What in the HELL do you think your doing!" You said quickly walking up to him. "Do you have any idea what this could do to your job. To mine because I'm pretty sure that this is because of me not telling you that I had told him! And yes I should have but it's been one bloody day! So why couldn't you just act like an adult and ask me first before you did all this!" You said you voice loud and hard as you stared at the stunned Bones.

"I..." was all he could before looking around at the mess he had created in his blind rage.

You let out a aggravated sigh. "I am going to go clear things up with the commander and probably fix his broken nose and I want you to have this office cleaned up before I bring him back here! I can't discuss it with you know I won't be able to listen I'm to angry so after we're talking. Big time!" You said before storming out of the office and to the med bay to help Spock as Bones began the cleaning in the office scared of how you would react if it wasn't done when you got back.
