You quickly jogged through the med bay to your office and walked in and turned around facing the door as you locked it with a sigh leaning your head against it as you closed your eyes thinking back to everything that had just happened.

Someone clearing there throat behind you made you stand up straight and turn to find Spock stood at one side of your desk his arms clasped behind his back with his posture perfect staring intently at you. It would have been as perfect as a picture of his nose wasn't bleeding and slightly crooked.

"Please have a seat in my chair Commander. There isn't really anywhere else for you to sit" you said the last bit reflecting on the size of his office compared to yours with only your chair, desk and a few cabinets in the back to file things in.

He silently moved round to the back of your desk and sat down in the significant smaller chair than his while you grabbed your bag and a few other medical tools from in your desk trying to ignore his eyes never leaving you. You line the tools one your desk and you finally fully turn to him to get a better look at his noise.

It looked broken but you put on some gloves and gently felt it to confirm it before using any tools on it to quickly fix it. It did feel broken but you quickly scanned it to make sure.

"Y/n" you suddenly hurried him say rather urgently and you looked up to realise you were almost fully pressed against him in the tight space behind your desk and to reach his noise had brought your face so close that you could feel his breath. Your cheeks blushed deeply as you finaly saw the deep green tinge to his cheeks that wasn't just from the blood and you hurriedly straitened up clearing your throat.
"Sorry for that..I'll be back in a second I need to grab some water to clean the blood" You said softly before scurrying to leave you office from the awkward atmosphere you had cause by being careless.

Spock point of view of what just happened ( because who wouldn't want to know that😉)
She began by simply feeling my noise but in her focus of what she was doing I could feel her legs pushed against mine as well as her top half leaning close enough to my chest that every time she breathed in her chest pushed against mine slightly.

This close she seemed a lot smaller than me compared to how she appeared in are normal interactions because of her being able to fit in the middle of my chest . This thought caused me to clear my throat alerting her to are closeness and the colour of my cheeks. Realising what she had done she quickly left the room to get somethings leaving me to calm down from feeling of her breath against my face from that close.

Back to your point of view!

You returned to the room with a small bowl of water and placed it on the desk before turning around and closing the curtains on the windows and locking the door. Spock raised an eye brow at your actions when you turned back round to face him.

"People were beginning to stare. Thought it best to get this cleaned up with as little amount of people seeing you with blood all over your face as possible" you said looking to the floor in a apologetic tone as you walked back over to him. He nodded at you as you walked back around the desk and put on a new pair of gloves. Your grabbed a sterile wipe and dipped it into the water as you sat against the desk so there was some distance between you and Spock so that you didn't end up with a situation like before. You leaned forward only slightly as you gently started to clean the blood off his noise.

"Why didn't you fight back or stop him?" You asked in a gentle voice as you tried to cause him as little pain as possible as you rubbed his noise.

"I thought it best he got his anger out on me not you" he said starting straight into your eyes causing your cheeks to blush lightly.

"Why wouldn't you want him mad at me?" You asked cleaning the rag off and continuing wiping while keeping eye contact with him.

"Because it is not your fault I found out. It is due to things out of your controls so I didn't see the need to deflect his anger as it is somewhat justified. After all I did move your hair." He averted his eyes for the last bit and you chuckled lightly.

"That doesn't justify you getting beat up Commander." You said placing down the rag as all the blood had been cleaned off and the water in the bowl was now a green colour. "This may hurt a bit" you said and the pushed his noise back into place. He didn't really react so you hummed and stud up only for him to grab your arm causing you to look back at him curiously.

"Thank you. And I found this on the floor outside my office." Spock said reaching to his side and showing you your pad that was thankfully not broken. "How did you drop it?" He asked.

"Well when I got to your office I was notified by Uhura that Bones had found out and then when I heard the noises inside the room I guess my body just moved on it's own." You said trailing of and looking down smiling to yourself at the thought of there faces when you stopped Bones punch. "I'm glad I made it before you were knocked out or anything else broke." You said looking back up at Spock only to appear to be what might have been a tiny smile but it was only there for a second.

"Well I am grateful for your help nurse y/n" he said standing up slowly. You smiled at him and nodded and moved back around the desk, he cleared his throat as you started to pack up the equipment. "Would you mind if I ask you a few questions about your self. As I'm still slightly confused on some aspects of your anatomy" he said with a completely straight face causing you to blush in seconds and look down slightly but nod anyway. He nodded back and started asking questions. "I have been curious, are your hands not as sensitive as a Vulcans?" He said looking at your hands.

You calmed down at realising what he had meant by his previous comment and calmly answered his question. "Well since I'm not half Vulcan I have quite a few aspects that are human such as my hands not being sensitive and I have normal human emotions however I do still have quite a few things that can be identified as Vulcan. My interior anatomy and blood are the same as a Vulcans, I have some but not all of a Vulcans strength as it seems to have weekend the larger part human you are and also" you took a gulp "my ears seem to be even more sensitive than a Vulcans to things such as direct contact." You said sighing and looked away from him ruddying your neck. "I'm not sure why that has gone up while all other aspects of my biology seem to have become more human" You said noticing that he was slowly stepping around the desk to stand at your side as your turned to face him and gradually look up there was something in his eyes that you hadn't seen before which seemed to lock you to the spot. He seemed to be searching  your eyes for something and you saw him move his arm slightly like he wanted to do something but he quickly put it back down.

"I see well then if I have any other questions then I will let you know." He said matter of factory before stepping back from you. You nodded and finished cleaning up the rest of the equipment.

"I will walk you back to your office. I need to make sure Bones has done what I said." You said a slight bit of anger returning to your voice and Spock nodded before opening the door for you and allowing you to go first.

When you got to Spocks office you walked in first and saw Bones grumbling on the couch but that stopped when he saw you. The office was back to normal which made you thankful slightly. You didn't want to have to be more mad at Bones that you absolutely had to.

"Well Commander I will see you for are normal appointment tomorrow" you said nodding to Spock then turned to Bones "You. My room. Now" you said and he quickly scurried out of the office with you following closely behind.
