Chapter 7

You opened the door to your room and walked in with a sheepish looking bones following slowly behind you.

Still keeping your back to him you pointed to a chair "sit" was all you said to him and he quickly sat in the chair and you turned around to lock the door.

You took a deep breath before turning around to face bones with a blank face that Boned couldn't read.

"Now. You better explain why you thought that was acceptable to do without even talking to me first and you better do it fast". You said hissing the last part as your anger began to bubble up again. Bones took in a deep breath while looking down at the ground before he answered.

"I... I don't know. I mean I know why I did that to Spock but I'm not sure why I didn't come to you first. I guess I always thought you would tell me everything so when you didn't I felt hurt even more so that added in to what I did to his office. I was worried about you and that if he found out you might want to transfer ships and feeling like your my little sister I went into overprotective mode. But I guess I did go a bit far when I could have talked to him or even just yelled...." he said finally looking back up at you with sad eyes. You knew his heart was in the right place with what he did but his method. Less than preferable.

"Your like my brother as well. So walking in and seeing you about to punch a superior officer in the face.... I didn't want you to lose your job on the ship either. You were doing it for me so I get it but please unless you know it won't get you kicked out of your job please don't go punching anyone else. Even for my sake. O and I didn't tell you right away because of this kind of reaction" you said chuckling slightly as you made your way over to him and ruffled his hair. "Now please. Just talk to me and maybe chill with the over protectiveness. I am an adult you know" you said bones now standing up chuckling and pulling you into a hug.

"Ok. I promise I'll stop being such a hard head when it comes to you" he said patting your head as you gave him a hug all your anger now gone and changed into happiness at Bones relaxing with his actions.

You finished up your talk with Bones and he left just as Uhura came jogging down the corridor to your room to check on you after not hearing back from the message she sent now that it was after her shift.  Bones nodded at her before leaving so the two of you could talk.

"So. What happened?" She said and you quickly pulled her into your room so that no one heard you tell her about the fight. Her reaction was priceless. "O my god how could I have missed you scolding Bones like that he would have been like a lost puppy dog I bet being scrolled by his little sister" she said laughing and falling back onto your bed and you sat next to her.

"Well at least he will chill a bit" you said undoing you hair that had got slightly messed up by the whole ordeal.

"And he he won't interfere with you and Spock. I bet your happy with that as well" she said sitting up on her arms a smirk plastered on her face as a blush appeared across your face at her realising your other reason for him to stop being so protective.

You and Uhura kept talking into the night and eventually both fell asleep in your room.

hey guys. Sorry it's taken me so long to get back to this story and that this chapter isn't as long as the other. But I wanted to tie up this situation so we can get to more of the juicy stuff😂. I will try to upload more often from know on in this story.

Also I wanted to ask your guy's opinion on something. I had also thought about maybe starting a Paul x reader from twilight. Coz I have been reading some stuff on him and got some ideas. Let me know what your guys think of this. O and it won't take time away from this book don't worry
