One chilly afternoon, some weeks before the beginning of the Christmas holidays, two figures are laying on the strong branches of the biggest tree in the park, chattering amongst each other.

One of them, short and thin, wearing a pair of deep-purple colored Converse, ripped black skinny jeans, a My Chemical Romance t-shirt and a black and purple patchwork hoodie, apparently hand-made. His dark brown hair with purple streaks in it partially covered two chocolate brown eyes, with a lot of what looked like black eyeshadow underneath them and along some of his jawline. The blackness also extended to some parts of his cheeks,

The other was wearing some short, shiny black boots, dark blue jeans, a Queen t-shirt, a choker and a Hufflepuff hoodie. Her long, chestnut brown hair, was messily sitting over half her face, covering her grey eyes with green specks in them, and the thin-framed glasses placed in front of them.

"-Look Virge, I'm sorry I'm being a little bitch about this, but I just wish they'd stop arguing for one damn minute! Is that too much to ask for!? It's constantly a 'Roman stole this!' or a 'Remus is doing that!' and I'm honestly about to explode!" The girl sighed heavily, massaging her forehead trying to alleviate the migraine she could already feel coming. "Eh, I can't blame you, I guess...I'd never be able to cope with all that." as he muttered those words, the girl offered him a thankful smile.

"I'm still pretty glad school is basically over though...Even if it's just for Christmas. Honestly! If I had to listen to any more lessons with that shit-head, Miss. Ellers, I'm sure I'd practically explode...Is there anyone worse than that woman!?" The boy huffed and felt his expression turn into a quite frustrated one. "I don't think I've ever met anyone that homophobic...or stupid in general really..." at this, the girl, Marianne, emitted an amused scoff. "I'm sorry about...That time. I can't believe it's possible, but right then she was more of a bitch than usual..." Virgil nodded and the girl took out her phone, as dhe'd heard its text tone go off.

"Ah, shit...Sorry mate, I have to go, some bullshit going on at home, I think..."

"Oh, it's fine, say hello to the trash dude for me..."

Although the boy would never admit it, he thought of the girl as his sister and felt dejected every time they had to stop hanging out because of her family. "Will do, bye Virge!"

He flashed her a smirk and she waved, walking away.

'Ugh-' she thought to herself, '-I could really use the help of a Soulmate right now...'

Well, that's chapter 2. Nothing special, just some Marianne-Virgil interaction.

Marianne is also featured in my one-shot book, so I suggest you check that one out too-

That's all for now...

Byeee!
