Infinity and beyond

Missing

Pain. Bright light. Head rush. Broken. Hurt. Lost. Missing. Gone.

Those words were the only ones I could think of. I slowly open my eyes to a bright light.
I try to move but only feel pain. Spilling everywhere. As my eyes refocus I notice the many cuts and bruises all over my body. I remember everything that had happened. And it seemed my heart had been broken all over again. My heart starts racing as my breath picks up. I feel the urge to cry but nothing comes out. How long had I been out here? I try to stand up but I get a head rush and fall again. I try again slowly this time gaining balance. My legs start moving but not normally. Limp after limp I finally make my way out of the woods. I look around and notice I'm near where the set is. I try limping more. I here crying. Not just any crying, it was Finn. Finn. I hadn't heard his voice in a little bit. Or however long I had been out. I limped towards the familiar sound. I peeked around the corner not wanting to draw attention to myself. I see only Finn. Alone. Crying. How much that hurt me. I start limping towards him. He shifts and looks up to see me. His face immediately lights up as he runs over to me. He stops before running into me.
I open my mouth to say something anything, but nothing comes out.

"Ok come here." He puts my arm around his should as he carefully picks me up bridal style. I wrap my arms around his shoulders and lean into his warm embrace. He walks me to his trailer and enters. He gently sets me on the couch before scrambling around to get a first aid kit and water and other supplies.

He comes back over and hands me water. I take it and drink the whole thing. I finally was able to speak. It was very soft and squeaky but I was speaking god dammit.

"How long was I missing?" I say barely loud enough for him to hear.

"You we're gone for almost a month." He says with tears falling again.

My stomach gurgles loudly. A blush creeps onto my face.

"Hold on." He says before running out of the trailer and returning with sandwiches and water.

I eat the food and drink the water as if I hadn't eaten in weeks. Oh I hadn't. I finished and relax a bit. He starts crying again and sits on the ground.

"Finn come here." I say motioning towards my lap. He kneels in front of me and lays his head in his arms on my lap. He continues crying. I hold him close.

"I've missed you so much." He says softly.

"I've missed you too finn." I say. He gets up and sits next to me and pulls me onto his lap and holds me close. I lean into him as much as I can. This comfort. I needed this. I hold his arm and hear his breath hitch. I lift my head in confusion. He looks down in defeat.

He allows me to roll up his sleeve to reveal cuts up and down his arms. I gasp softly and tear up. I look up at him.

"Why Finn?" I ask softly.

"I needed you." He replies.

I start crying and rest my head on his shoulder. My hand goes behind his head and allows him to rest his head in the crook of my neck. We both cry like that for a while. Not wanting to leave each other ever again.

After a while he falls asleep. I slowly get up and go take a shower. I change into his clothes. He starts calling my name while hyperventilating. I rush over to him.
