Chapter 7: For You

Lucy POV

When we finished the movie, we went to a cafe to grab a bite. After a while, we went home at around 6pm. I was really tired from hanging our with my friends, now it's time to relax at my hou— our house. I almost forgot that I live with Natsu. I sighed over the thought of that.

When I got home, I heard the TV open, meaning that Natsu is probably home. When I opened the door, I saw Natsu sleeping on the couch, his mouth wide open and crumbs around his mouth. On the coffee table, there was chips and soda, meaning that he was just lazing around. I sweatdropped over the sight of him like this.

"Man, you really have no hope living by yourself, do you?" I said to him but he didn't answer as he was still sleeping. He actually looks like a little kid when he's sleeping. A little cute as well...

I shook my head and slapped both my cheeks a little and said, "Stop it, Lucy. Remember that this is only for a year and we are out of our hair forever."

I went to the kitchen to make some dinner for him, knowing that he will probably be hungry when he wakes up. So, I got the ingredients for making gyoza and dumplings, enough to satisfy his appetite.

after almost an hour making 2 dozen dumplings, I left it on the counter and covered it and wrote a note saying,

'Just steam this for 10 minutes, and save some for tomorrow. -Lucy'

I went upstairs to take a shower and relax on the bed. I actually hope that he likes my dumplings, I put my heart and soul on making the filling and hand making the dough.

Natsu POV

I woke up with a little sprain on my neck, but it didn't bother me. I looked at my phone to see the time, it was 7:30pm. To be honest, it wasn't a great idea taking a nap at this kind of time, especially when I have school tomorrow.

I went to the kitchen to see if there was anything to eat because I haven't ate dinner. Then I saw a couple of dumpling boxes on the table. I was curious about what it was. i saw the note on top of the boxes, it says,

'Just steam it for about 10 minutes, and save some for tomorrow.'-Lucy.

I opened it and saw some uncooked dumplings. I smiled over the fact that she made food for me, even though that she knew that she wouldn't and left me hungry all night, but it was part of our deal; she makes me food and I sleep on the couch.

So, I steamed it, got some soy sauce and hot sauce and ate the dumplings while watching TV. It was really delicious and tasty, even without the sauce. I gotta say, she makes some good food. I'm jealous that the one who's going to marry her for real is going to be lucky to eat this kind of food. I mean, I'm eating right now because we're married but we didn't really want to be married, I mean, I don't even love her and she doesn't love me.

After I ate 16 of the 24 dumplings, I washed the dishes and went upstairs to take a shower. Even though Lucy is up there probably sleeping, I really want to take a shower and get rid of the filth all over my body.

i knocked first to know Lucy that I'm going in, but I didn't hear anything, so I went in and saw Lucy, who just got out of the shower and drying her hair, and wasn't wearing anything and I saw her whole body, naked.

Lucy POV

I looked up and saw Natsu come in. Realising that I don't have any clothes, he probably saw my naked body. We stared at each other for about 2 seconds until we reacted.

His reaction was him covering his face, blushing as red as Erza's hair. My reaction was screaming at him, "YOU IDIOT!!" And I grabbed the nearest thing next to me, which was a plastic bottle of lotion and threw it at his face, which it hit. He went down and caressed his forehead, where the bottle hit, and sat on the floor. I quickly grabbed a towel and covered myself up and went to Natsu, not to aid him but to scream at him and say,

"Do you even have any decency and try to knock every once in a while?" I bend down to overpower him and I try to make a face that Erza does when he gets in trouble.

"I did, but I thought that you weren't inside, so I went in. But I didn't know that you were in the shower and just my timing, you just got out and weren't wearing anything..." his voice got quieter when he finished talking, making me think that he saw me naked.

My eyes widened when I heard what he said and replied, "So you saw me naked?!"

"Maybe..." he looks away and tries to cover his face from all the embarrassment and probably thinking about me naked.

I blushed over the fact that he probably saw me naked and said, "Did you see anything?" He nodded slowly and punched him right on top of his head.

He got up, angry because I hit him without warning. "What was that for?" He asked me, enraged.

"That was for going inside all willy-nilly." And then, I slapped him on the cheek.

"And that's for seeing me naked." He got more angry over that. He sighed and calmed down to say, "Anyway, I went in because I wanted to take a shower." He explained.

I pouted and answered, "Well, you should've waited for me to open the door." So, I helped him on getting his towel and he got inside of the shower with his clothes.

Then something came onto my mind, "Hey." He turns around to see me.

"What?"

"By the way, did you like my dumplings?" I said shyly.

"Um, yeah. They were great. I didn't eat all of them, just like you asked." He said and smiled.

"Thanks, that's probably our breakfast for tomorrow and I'll add some more for the both of us." I replied.

"Thanks, you really made it for me? I'm flattered." He said. "I'm also jealous for the guy who's going to truly love you and marry you someday because that was really good cooking." He said with his signature grin.

my eyes widened over the thought. "For the guy who's going to marry me? I mean, it's you but I don't love you, but we made a deal so..." I shook my head to go back to reality.

"Anyway, close the door when you're done." I walk up to the closet, got into my pyjamas, and went to bed.

"I really hope that he doesn't do anything when I'm asleep." I close my eyes and fell asleep.

Natsu POV

I was taking a longer shower than usual because, our once, I have shower thoughts. And most of it is Lucy.

"Geez, it wasn't my fault that you just got out of the shower and I walk in and see you naked. Although, I did saw your chest..." I shook my head to get rid of that thought of my mind.

"Stop it, Natsu. She's not the one. She doesn't love you so get over it." I said to myself. "But... I do."

Yeah, ever since she got introduced in the classroom, I couldn't stop staring at her, but I had to act string and my usual self in front of everyone because dating a Heartfilia is something you don't want.

What I mean is, The Heartfilias are known to be notorious and sometimes untrustworthy simply because they try to get every benefit they can from you and leave you dry, sometimes, even embarrassing you in front of the public. I even remember Loke, the guy that liked Lucy, had a hard time to get Lucy to like him.

I don't know if thats the reason but the fact is, I've heard of the stories that her parents did to suck people dry out of money and embarrassing them. In fact, my mom was one of them. But somehow, my mom and her mom got to be best friends. I know that was in the past but I have to keep on alert for her.

When I was finished taking a shower, I dried myself with a towel, wore my usual clothes for sleeping and went downstairs. But I couldn't help but notice Lucy sleeping. I went beside the bed and looked at her sleeping. She actually looks cute sleeping. I can't believe that I got to marry the one that I have a crush on, and now, we're living under the same roof.

I don't know if I want to make her like me, but one thing's for sure; she doesn't like me.

I finally went down and headed to the couch to sleep. Big day tomorrow because it's a school day.
