Chapter 12: Sleepovers

Natsu POV

The next day, I went early to Gray's house so that Lucy's friends doesn't see me inside the house, I brought my bags and arrived at Gray's house. I knocked at their and was met by Mr. Fullbuster. I shook his hand and he said, "Hey, Natsu. You here for the sleepover?" He asked me. I nodded and he let me in, inside I saw Ms. Fullbuster making some snacks, probably for Gray and the others. "Hey, Natsu. The boys are inside Gray's bedroom, I was about to bring them some snacks, can you help me bring the juice?"

I gladly helped her bring the juice and my stuff upstairs. When I opened the door, Gray and the others were playing video games, while Gajeel was reading some comics. Only Gajeel greeted as Gray and Elfman were busy playing video games. Ms. Fullbuster put the snacks down on the coffee table in the middle of the room and left us on our own. When Gray defeated Elfman in the video game, they finally noticed me and greeted me, they took a break by eating some snacks that gray's mother brought for us.

While we were eating, Gajeel found out something about one of our classmates. "You know I don't care that much about the other classmates." Gray nonchalantly says. "But trust me, you won't believe what I found out." Gajeel said. we compressed ourselves to hear his story. "So, I found out that Lucy heartfilia is living on her own now." All of us were surprised to hear that, but for me it was a different kind of surprise.

I totally forgot that he was one of the two who know about the house but doesn't that I live there as well. Gajeel continued, "Apparently, her parents want to get used to living alone for when she goes to college, even though that's definitely not the case." The two nodded in agreement, while I was just sitting trying to change the subject and have a good time with my friends, so I pointed to the video game and said, "How about I'll beat you again, Elfman?" Elfman shouted, "I'm not going to back down on a manly challenge!" I took both of the controllers and gave one to Elfman. we started the game and played to our heart's content.

Lucy POV

I was chilling on the couch, watching some TV, waiting for the girls to come. Because of Natsu sleeping here for a month, his smell has stuck on the couch. It defiantly not a great smell nor strong, but it wasn't noticeable if you absolutely smelled for it.

It was almost noon, so I was making food enough for me and the girls. Then, I heard knocking on the door. I walked to the door wearing an apron on. I opened the door and saw my friends and more. Levy, Lisanna, Juvia, and Erza was in front of my door. I was a little surprised that Erza came, but it wasn't that much of an issue, I mean the more the merrier.

I helped them carrying their bags and they were awed about 'my' house. They saw the kitchen and saw that I prepared some sushi, dumplings and strawberry cake, which I baked all myself. I swear I saw Erza's mouth water a little when she saw the cake, but the girls quickly gave a ton of questions like what Lisanna asked me, "Why are you living by yourself?" She said as she looks around the living room and to walking to the staircase. "I tried to think about what to say but the truth because who knows how embarrassed it will be when they know that I'm married, nonetheless to someone like Natsu.

"Ummm, I wanted to know what's like to live by myself." I said before I gave out a nervous chuckle.

"So that means you cook your own meals?" Erza asked as she was in the kitchen.

"Uh, yeah. Why?" I asked her back and went to the kitchen and saw Erza just staring at the cake, her mouth dripping a bit. I sweatdropped to see her looking like that.

"Don't worry, Erza. You'll have some, as well as the others." I gathered the others to stop looking at the house and come to the kitchen to have something to eat. They did and we ate the sushi and dumplings, while Erza went straight for the cake, which was no surprise.
