Chapter 12

I was curious about her and I know I should make her my friend first and at least let her feel comfortable because I don't ever want her to feel uncomfortable, but the curiosity got the best of me and I found myself making my way towards Adrian's office.

I was intrigued about her and I didn't even know her name.

But even without knowing her name I knew we can be great friends and we shared something similar.

Reaching Adrian's office, I stopped for a while and thought about how I am going to confront him, knowing what happened last night I just hoped he wouldn't bring up last night but I knew I could only hope.

I knocked on his door, waiting for him to open. If I wanted I would barge in without knocking but there were two reasons why I wouldn't.

First because I really don't want to encounter another disgusting make out session of Adrian and that evil witch.

And second I didn't want to make him angry as I wanted to really know about her.

Only after a few seconds I heard a 'come in' and I opened his door and entered his office.

Closing the door, I looked up at him to find him staring right back at me.

I gulped due to the intensity sparking in his eyes. His eyes glanced over my body and it looked like he was accessing my clothes.

I swear to god if he comments something about my outfit, I am going to fight him. But as I looked into his eyes again, his eyes showed approval.

Like I needed his approval.

I cleared my throat so we can discuss what I came here for. He looked back up at me when he heard me.

"Are you here to answer the question I asked last night?" He asked in his deep, husky voice

Just what I thought.

"No, I would rather not talk about last night at all," I said trying to dismiss the situation but of course when had something gone my way.

"Well I would definitely like to talk about last night. First you disobeyed my command, and then left without answering my question. I think you are asking for some kind of punishment for disobeying me, my little rebel," He said and moved towards me until only some space was left between us and I was cornered into the door.

It's like last night is happening all over again.

But if he thought he can corner me like that he was so wrong.

I held my head high and stared into his eyes, keeping a strong eye contact.

"Just like I said last night, I don't need to obey your command because I don't accept you as my alpha and if I can, I would live as a rouge. And for your second question - I don't remember what it was so you can go fuck yourself or rather fuck your evil mate," I said and took joy in the blazing fire burning in his eyes.

Too much for being polite so I can actually get some information about her.

I didn't even get a chance to react when I was suddenly pushed on the door, "don't you dare fucking speak to me like that and put this thing in your head that I. WOULD. NEVER. LET. YOU. BECOME. A. ROUGUE." He growled at me.

Suddenly hot, red anger burst through me after hearing him say those words.

"What's wrong with you huh? Why can't you let me live once like I want to? Why do you have take everything from me? My dad hates me more because you didn't believe me! I was actually trying to save you and our pack and what did I get myself? Insult and betrayal? Why did you do this to me?" I screamed while tears poured out of my eyes and my fist pounded on Adrian's chest.
