I immediately went through the secret passageway and entered the pack area.
The pungent smell of blood hit my nostrils as I walked more into the pack area.
The rouges were attacking the pack, I hid behind a big rock and watched the scene taking place in-front of me.
It was like everything was happening in slow motion, the rouges were powerful than ever, even though Adrian was more powerful than them, but he was outnumbered.
I could just feel my heart break into million of pieces as rouges kept tearing into the bodies of our pack members. I couldn't take it anymore.
At that exact moment I felt that if I don't take action, the pack members would die, and without thinking about anything, without thinking about how much torture these people gave me, without thinking about how I was about to risk my life for people who probably wished for my death.
I ran into the fighting scene and blacked out. One by one, I kept tearing into the rouges bodies, fighting for blood. I only saw red.
I didn't know how but I was able to kill them with just sinking my fangs inside their neck and they were dead in a heart beat.
I was in middle of killing a rouge wolf when a large rouge wolf started advancing towards me and before I could fight back, something pushed me on the ground and before I knew i was covered by a large body of fur.
'Mate' my wolf said
What a time to find my mate.
I looked up and stared into familiar grey eyes.
Wait, I stared at the wolf with black fur on top of me.
Alpha Adrian!
No, this can't be true!
I can't accept this!
With some newfound strength I pushed the large black wolf off me and ran away from the pack house.
I knew he would not follow me as he still had to fight the rest of the rouges. This gave me the chance to run far away from the pack and shift into my human form.
Was this the reason we both didn't know that we were each other mates?
All it took was me shifting into my wolf in-front of him.
However I knew one thing
If he didn't know that I, Athena Black was his mate since he has never seen me in my wolf form, I wasn't going to tell him.
Why?
I don't know myself.
