I took a deep breath and laid down on the lawn chair. I closed my eyes, not wanting to socialize with anyone after what just happened.
Did I just get butterflies while staring at Vanderwood? No that can't be right.

"Ahem?" Someone said, breaking my thoughts.

I opened my eyes and they locked with Vanderwood's hazel ones. My heart started beating faster but as hard as I tried I couldn't stop staring at him.

"You dragged me to this place now get your ass in the water before I throw you in." He said in annoyance.

He has his hands on his hips and still no shirt. I rolled my eyes and reluctantly got up.

"I wasn't planning on swimming you know." I told him as I undid the beach kimono and placed it on the chair.

"Tough luck." He said, turning around.

"No one else is swimming so why do I have to?" I asked him, pointing at Zen and Sae who were chilling on their phones.

Jumin was petting Elizabeth the 3rd who looked really uncomfortable being so close to water. Jaehee was sitting beside Yoosung and they were talking. It was just Vanderwood and I standing up by the pool.

"Because I said." He told me.

"You aren't my dad mister." I said jokingly.

"Come here." He said pointing in front of him.

"Why?" I asked a little sceptical.

"Just come here I have to tell you something secret." He said, bringing his voice into a whisper.

I moved over and stood in front of him. He used that opportunity to push me by my shoulders into the water. I let out a high pitch scream as I hit the water.

"What the fuck Vanderwood!?" I yelled at him when I had resurfaced.

He had his hands on his knees, laughing harder than ever. He jumped/cannon balled into the water and came up beside me.

"Not cool jack ass." I said in annoyance, moving towards the latter to get out of the water.

"Y/n! Wait come on it was funny!" He said, brushing his hair out of his face and swimming over to where I was.

I ignored him and grabbed onto the later. When I was on the second step I felt his hands grab my hips and pull me back into the water.

"Let go of me!" I said, struggling to get out of his grasp while laughing.

"Ya let go of her." I heard Sae say.

I looked up, a small amount of fear creeping up on me. Vanderwood let go of my hips and I quickly got out of the water. I looked around and everyone's eyes were on us. Vanderwood had gone very red and looked extremely uncomfortable.

"Sae it's not what it looks like." I told him, putting my hand on his arm to calm him down.

"Really? Because it looks like my girlfriend flirting with my fucking assistant!" Sae screamed.

"Ok I need you to lower your voice and calm down." I said feeling really embarrassed that everyone was looking at me.

"Oh my god y/n can you just shut the fuck up I'm not done!" He yelled at me.

"Woah Saeyoung." Vanderwood said, now standing beside me.

My eyes prickled with tears and I ran into the house. I locked myself in the bathroom and started to cry. I could still hear Sae and Vanderwood yelling at each other but I toned them out. I paced back and forth debating on what to do. I knew what to do. I have to go home. I needed to get home. I was removed from my thoughts when I heard I quiet knocking. I opened the door and Vanderwood was standing on the other side.

"You shouldn't be here you know." I told him, not looking in his eyes.

He held out my towel and kimono.

"I thought you would need this." He said to me with a soft smile.

I took them from him, internally grateful and pulled the towel around myself. I sighed.

"I'm sorry for what happened back there." I said quietly.

"Don't worry about it. Agent 707 was right. I stepped out of line. You are his girlfriend... not mine." He said the 'not mine' quietly.

"Vanderwood." I said softly.

"It's true and you know it. Y/n I've been in love with you since the day you joined the RFA. You texted me that day and we clicked instantly. God I love you so much."

"Vanderwood I-"

"Tell me you love him. Look me in the eye and tell me you love him. Because I love you y/n and I need to know the truth."

"Vanderwood I'm with Saeyoung..."

"That's not what I asked."

I looked at him in the eyes, unsure of what to say next.

"Y/n? Let's go we are leaving." Yoosung said, pushing in front of Vanderwood and grabbing my wrist.

I didn't argue and let myself be pulled along. Our car was waiting out front and Yoosung got into the drivers side.

"Don't you think I should go back and talk to Saeyoung?" I asked him.

"No I don't. I think Seven needs a break from people until he can learn how to talk with them without being a total asshole." He started up the car and drove away, not looking back.

We didn't talk on the way home. No music was played either. It was just completely silent. That's how it was starting to be now a days. Every hour just seemed more and more silent.

"We are all on your side just so you know." Yoosung said to me when we were about half way home.

"What do you mean?"

"I mean Seven lashes out at you and Vanderwood for no reason. Like you weren't cheating on him with Vanderwood. If Zen was in the water with you Seven wouldn't have minded it was just because it was Vanderwood. Kind of stupid if you ask me."
I nodded.

It was stupid. Wasn't it? Because I would never leave Sae for Vanderwood right? All of this made my head hurt. Let's face it. I didn't know the answers to any of these questions. The only thing I knew for sure was it was only going to get worse from here. My eyes started to get heavy and I let them close and slumber washed over me, engulfing me in pitch black darkness.
