I woke up with a blindfold over my eyes. I could not tell how long I had been asleep for but I knew I wasn't in the same place. I struggled against the restraints on my wrist.
"Shhhhhh" I heard Vanderwood whisper in my ear.
Thoughts raced through my head but the only one that stuck out the most was, where is Saeyoung? I tried to speak but duck tape had been placed over my mouth.
"Y/n... let's not fuss... I'm going to take your blindfold and duck tape off but if you make a noise I will not hesitate to put you in your place." He told me, his words dripping with hate.
Slowly the duck tape was taken off and the blindfold was removed. I let my eyes adjust to the light and looked around the room. It was light grey with tools scattered all around.
"I know where we are." I whispered to myself.
"Do you? Good girl. I was hoping you would." He replied, "Sure it's a little risky but... doesn't that make it so much more fun." He winked.
My heart was beating wildly in my chest. It was Saeyoung's basement.
"Vanderwood please." I pleaded, "Let me go!"
He chuckled to himself and started running his fingers through my h/l hair.
"And then what? Your little boyfriend will have me arrested. You know too much my dear. I can't have you snitching." He sickly smiled at me.
"Please. I'll tell him to lay off you. Please just let me go."
"I don't like the begging y/n and I sure as hell don't like the lying."
My eyes pricked with tears.
"I have to go upstairs my dear. I'm sure Saeyoung has the whole SWAT team looking for his missing prize." He sneered.
He walked closer to me with a piece of duck tape.
"If you make just one sound, I'll kill you. And your boy toy too." He smirked.
I stifled a whimper as he placed the tape over my mouth again. I wanted so badly to scream out for help. He walked upstairs and onto the main level.
"Vanderwood!" I heard Saeyoung say.
"What's up?" He asked back.
"It's y/n... she's gone missing... no one can find her!" Saeyoung's voice was cracking. I knew he was scared.
"I'm sure she is fine." Vanderwood lied.
"I'm going to check downstairs." Saeyoung said.
I got my hopes up, praying to be found.
"No!" Vanderwood yelled at him, "Why don't I do that and you get some water."
"Ya that's... that's a good idea."
"I'll be right back." Vanderwood told him.
"Hey!" Saeyoung called, "Thank you. I don't know how I could be handling this without you."
"Of course. We are family." Vanderwood replied sweetly.
With that he walked back downstairs and smiled at me.
"Don't look too sad my darling... frowning ruins your features." He said sickly.
"Let me go." I growled.
It was one thing to lie to me but to lie to the one person who really trusted him? That was something else.
"Oh a little spit fire now are we?" He questioned.
"I will scream." I told him.
"Will you? And then what? I'll slit your throat... is that what you want?"
"Why are you doing this?"
"Because Saeyoung gets everything!" He screamed.
This was it. This is how I could take him down.
"What do you mean?" I asked, playing dumb.
"He gets the cars and the money and the power. He does not get to have the girl too!"He grabbed my shoulders and pulled me up from where I was sitting.
"I'd take your hands off of her if I were you." Saeyoung said from behind Vanderwood.
He had a gun in his hand. Vanderwood froze in his tracks.
"Y/n... come here." Saeyoung said, his voice never losing the strict tone.
I quickly walked behind him. He walked closer to Vanderwood, the gun raised to shoot.
"You think you can steal my girl, hide her in MY home, and threaten her life while I am upstairs?" He screamed at Vanderwood.
Vanderwood flinched.
"Do you understand how hard it is for me to keep you alive?" Saeyoung whispered.
"Sae-" I tried to say.
"Y/n go upstairs... now." He said strictly.
I attempted to listen but decided to stay at the top of the stairs.
"You disgust me." Saeyoung told Vanderwood.
"Saeyoung I-" Vanderwood started.
"No you do not get to talk you worthless piece of shit!"
"I'm sorry..." Vanderwood whispered.
"You don't get to be sorry either." Saeyoung said.
I held my breath in anticipation.
"Here is how this is going to go down. I will do the talking. Do not think I won't shoot you if you say anything. We are going upstairs. If you so much as look at my girlfriend... I shoot you. Do you understand what I'm getting at?"
Silence.
"Answer me dick-face!"
"Y-yes" Vanderwood stuttered.
I quickly ran to the couch trying to hide the fact that I was listening in. Saeyoung came upstairs with his gun to Vanderwood's back.
"Y/n... call Jumin. Tell him to bring to group here." Saeyoung told me.
I nodded and picked up the phone that lay on the table.
"Agent Seven did you find y/n?" Jumin said from the other end of the phone.
"Jumin it's me!" I told him.
"Y/n! It's y/n guys! What happened where did you go? Are you alright?"
"I'm fine. Saeyoung said to meet him here. At his place."
"Ok sounds good. We will meet you there."
With that I hung up and tried to find Saeyoung. He was sitting in the kitchen with the gun still towards Vanderwood.
"Don't think you're safe." Vanderwood whispered to us.
"Shut up." Saeyoung told him.
"Saeran is still out there... and he's just as mad as ever."
