Saeyoung pulled me into a hug.
"I know this is hard babe." He whispered in my ear. "But we are doing everything we can to keep you safe. Please don't wish to change the past. It is because of the past that i have you and i wouldn't want it any other way."
I squeezed his torso and felt him rest his chin on the top of my head.
"What time is it?" I asked him, wiping away the tears from my cheeks.
"2:35." He told me.
"Yoosung will be here soon... I am going to see if I can do anything to help." I said as I stood up.
"Y/n... you don't need to do that. Jumin is fine on his own." Saeyoung responded, placing a hand on my cheek.
"I need to." I told him. "If I sit here and do nothing I feel like i'm drowning and I just need something else to focus on."
Saeyoung nodded his head as a sign that he understood and I started to talk towards the room Yoosung would be staying in. When I opened the door I could tell Jumin had put a lot of thought and effort into the room. There was a large computer across from the king sized bed and a high quality gaming chair in front of the desk (A/N: I know nothing about gaming so "high quality gaming chair" is as good as you are gonna get😂). I smiled to myself as I imagined the look on Yoosung's face when he walked into the room.
"I think he's going to love it." A voice said, interrupted my thoughts.
I turned around and came face to face with Vanderwood.
"Woody.. I mean!... Vanderwood... what are you doing her?" I said, stuttering.
I knew what the answer was but I guess some part of me hoped Saeyoung would change his mind and not call Vanderwood. He softly smiled, the smile not quite reaching his eyes.
"Saeyoung called me and I knew I needed to be close to you. This has got to be scary and the more people you have on your side the better." He responded.
Ring. Ring.
Our short conversation was interrupted with a phone call. Vanderwood seemed really stiff after reading who the caller was. He walked into a different room but since the walls were very thin it barely felt like they left at all.
"Hey." He said quietly.
"Yes everything is ready. No we are safe." He told the person on the other end, "No one is suspicious don't worry." He said even quieter.
I moved away from the wall and sat down on the bed. Who was he talking to? What did he mean by "everything is ready"? Vanderwood walked back into the room and my heart raced even faster. A feeling of unease settled in my stomach and I wanted to leave.
"Sorry about that." He smiled at me. "It was just... work!"
"That's fine..." I said quickly. "I just forgot... um... I have to find Saeyoung..."
I tried my best not to run out of the room to find Saeyoung. I didn't know who Vanderwood was talking to but whoever it was... I don't think they are on our side.
"Y/n!!" Yoosung said in excitement, running up and giving me a hug.
I huffed in annoyance. This was slowing me down and the longer I waited the more paranoid I would become.
"Hi Yuyu... look I gotta find Saeyoung I'll talk to you in a minute." I told him, pushing myself out of his grasp.
"Is everything ok?" Yoosung asked, not letting go of me.
"Yes it's fine. Please let me go." I begged, the worry feeling growing bigger.
He reluctantly did and I ran off.
"Y/n?" I heard Vanderwood ask from behind me.
I turned around slowly, meeting his gaze.
"I can't talk right now Vanderwood." I told him as I went to turn around again.
"Y/n I think you should come with me for a minute." He said, stepping closer.
"I actually need to see Saeyoung." I responded, stepping backwards.
"I don't think you should." He whispered now standing directly in front of me with a tight grasp on my wrist.
"Vanderwood please let go that hurts." I winced as his hand tightened.
"Don't make a sound and come with me." He whispered, pulling me towards the stairs.
I followed him nervously. He had never acted like this before and I didn't know where this sudden aggressiveness had come from. He pulled me into a room and sat me down on a bed. He locked the door behind him and pulled out his phone.
"My dear y/n... do you know why you are here?" He asked, a tone of creepy amusement in his voice.
I shook my head, scared to speak.
"You see, I brought him to you." He told me while smirking.
Him? Who was he talking about? Then it hit me.
"You gave my number to Saeran!?" I asked in surprise.
He nodded.
"Vanderwood are you crazy!?"
"Crazy? Is that what you think of me? No love. Not crazy. Just... possessive. You see, pretty boy has always been spoiled. He has always gotten his way, along with everything he wants." He said, eyeing me up and down.
"Vanderwood you're scaring me let me go." I pleaded.
"No! I will not let him win. You are mine! I had you but the spoiler beat took you away from me. Now it's his turn to feel what it's like to have the thing he loves ripped away from him." He chuckled, pulling handcuffs and a cloth from his pocket.
"Vanderwood please." I begged.
"Now now my dear. I can't have you struggling to get away." He walked over to me placing the handcuffs on my wrist as if I wasn't struggling at all.
"What are you going to do?" I asked him as tears formed in my eyes.
"I'm taking you away. Where you can be mine. Saeran has got a couple cages back at the Mint Eye headquarters and I'm sure he won't mind if I borrow one after the gift I'm giving him." He told me, excitement filling his eyes.
"Present?" I whispered.
"Oh yes babe. You see the deal was, I get you... And Saeran? Well he gets to do whatever he wants to poor Agent 707." He snickered.
"No... no!! Vanderwood please please no!" I struggled.
"Shhhhh... sleep my dear...." He whispered as he placed the cloth over my mouth and nose.
I struggled to push him off of me but slowly my arms and legs felt heavy and I found myself drifting away from reality and into a deep, dark sleep.I am so so sorry this took so long!! I have had writers block as well as some mental challenges!!! I hope you like it loves!! XOXO
