The Three Part 4

The simple house was getting a bit colder with each minute passing in the night, the wood near the windows creeking, the trio still on the floor, waiting for Hugo to return, they waited patiently, 10 minutes, 20 minutes, an hour, nothing.. the eldest, usually quite calm gulped, and shakily said: ''I-I think we should start to plan something, staying here for too long might make us easy food''.. ''Easy food???'' Mio said ''Easy food for  w-?''  Before he could finish Eio covered his mouth ''Could you shut up for just a minute Mio?..." After a bit he calmed down ''Thank you, anyway'' She continued in a much quieter tone, here's the deal'' She conjured a pen and a piece of paper

''Alright so'' She gulped again, then took up her pen ''Our first option is, we just sit here and wait it out for Hugo to come b-'' ''Yep, that's the one I'm going for'' Mio said, butting in, Eio gave him a sharp cold look ''What?? That just sounds like the safest way around this..'' Eio breathed in deeply to calm herself down ''As I was saying, waiting for Hugo to get back is the first option. we don't know what those things outside were, if they were magicians, like ourselves, or something else..'' ''Like what?'' As he asked that, Eio remembered the demon her and Auntie found the other night''N-nevermind.. Anyway. the reason I think that those things that were stalking us might be magicians is because, when I saw, um. .. auntie'' Her arm quivered a bit, Sio holding it to console her, smiling up to her, calming Eio down''When I saw her, she did mention that we 5 have turned against them, she also mentioned,. the master?'' Mio chuckled a little, not beleiving most of this nonsense, but little Sio was looking up concentrated at what Eio had to say ''Like I said, I'm not sure of any of this'' Sio then stood up on her small legs ''I think we should go to sleeep, I'm tired'' This made the other two chuckle ''Sure, I'll get you to bed'' Eio said, picking her up and walking up the stairs of the house , finding a bit of a dusty bed with a heart carved into the headboard, laying Sio on the sheets, she then quickly closed the window near her bed as it was wide open"" Phew, close one"

As Eio returned to Mio, he was swirling his fingers in the air ''You ever think we should try learning magic someday? '' Eio looked confused, then replied: ''I mean, we might need it sooner then I ever expected'' Mio swirled his fingers again and whispered some words, conjuring a blue flame from the fingers ''Woah! That's awesomee" He said ''Shuuuuush, you're too loud, but how'd ya do that?'' Eio asked out of curiousity. Mio had a smug look on, and said: ''Welll, I might have read a thing or two in dad and mom's books too.. curiousity hasn't killed the cat yet though'' He giggled, making Eio roll her eyes . Then the front door busted open, making them jolt.

They stared at the opening with wide open eyes,a leaf rolled in, then Hugo dragged himself in front of the door, his whole body scratched up..., he then said ''T-there'' He pointed at the carpet behind the two, Mio throwing it to the side, revealing a huge metal lock ''H-here'' Hugo threw the key, and as it flew through the air, 4 shadow arms grabbed Hugo from behind and dragged him out,making him scream in horror ''R-RUNNNNNNNNNN''' He said extremely loudly, making Eio shot up the stairs and grabbed Sio ''W-what's wrong? ''We gotta go Sio, hold on tight!'' She ran downstairs in a flash, Mio struggling to open the lock'' Come onnnnn...'' He pulled one more time , making him fall back as the door  was opened violently'' Finally, let's get out of here! 

'' ''B-but Hugo'' Sio said, with a bit of a sad expression but the other two  went into the hole, and then slowed down a bit as it was pitch black, some stairs beneath their  shoes, Eio lighting , as they walked down, a few torches turned on, scaring them ''S-shit..'' ''What happened to Hugoo?" Sio whined, pulling on Eio's hand ''I-I don't know, but we have to follow this path , for now. They continued walking, Sio occasionally whining at the two to go back for Hugo, it was a very very dusty tunnel, with some weird writing on the walls, they stopped to try and decipher it, but to no avail , some small statues were on little stone shelves to their sides, suddenly, the tunnel shook, like an earthquake was imminent ''What in the world is that?'' They looked around the tunnel ceiling, seeing some small cracks form with each shake, as the other two were busy looking at those:
