"Why are you smiling like you've won the lottery." she giggled, pecking his smiley lips. She moved off him, cuddling into him from the side instead.

"Oh, that. Well, you see." He started, she looked at him confused. He put his hands on top of the duvet where his lap would be, fiddling anxiously. He was nervous enough to come clean to Zoe and Alfie, let alone to Dianne who would be the one to carry his children.

"You can tell me." she comforted, putting one of her hands in his and squeezing it gently, him relaxing his once tense fingers under hers.

"No secrets remember." she chuckled, he chuckled too, confirming what he was going to say with himself.

"Yeah. So you know yesterday, when you took the test?" He said slowly, she nodded, pulling the duvet over her a bit more to protect her from the breeze that came in via the window.

"Yeah."

"Well, when...when you said you weren't pregnant, I...I was, I figured I was disappointed." He stuttered. Dianne took in every word, savouring them and resting her head on her shoulder.

"Is this you way of telling me, you want kids?" she said nervously, every bone in her body aching for a yes.

"Yes, but only when your ready, I can wait." Joe wasn't going to pressure Dianne, not in the slightest. He would wait for her, they were doing this together, they were a team.

She couldn't help but smile up at him, he looked down to meet her gaze.

"I'm ready Joe, but are you sure? It's a big thing." Dianne wanted to make sure he was one hundred percent on it, she wanted him to be properly ready first. He nodded, intertwining their fingers.

"Yeah, I'm ready." He kissed her lips, showing her just how much he loved her, she kissed back, both of them smiling into the kiss before pulling away.

"We should probably start trying after when I get Back from Australia, soon as possible?"

"Yeah, sounds good. And in case you were wondering, me and Zoe were looking at kids clothes." He said a little shyly, she grinned and squeaked, like a cute little mouse.

"So adorable Joseph!" She clapped her hands excitedly, Joe shaking his head at her cute little ways which brightened up his day. She never failed to make him smile, one of the many reasons he loved her.

"Not as adorable as you."

"Home again!" Joe exclaimed as they entered the apartment at three pm that day, Byron out with Emily, his partner. Dianne hadn't moved in officially yet, but she spent most of her time there anyway.

She put her own bags down while he did his, both going into the kitchen where Joe made them both drinks, sparkling water for Dianne and still for himself.

"I swear that's like TV static." Joe said as watched Dianne take a big gulp of the dizzy liquid, only to spit it out all over his top, making him shiver and both of them burst out laughing.

"What?" she laughed, getting a towel from the bathroom and throwing it to him.

"Bloody hell Dianne, this isn't innuendo bingo!" He dried off the worst of it before he gave it and disposed of the top completely, giving her eyes a right treat.

"Hey Byron, nice date?" Joe chirped, smiling and putting a different top on which was in his bag from the treehouses, avoiding having to go all the way up to his room. The couple had just walked in, smiley as usual.

"Yeah, how were the treehouses?" He replied, Dianne joining the three in the kitchen.

"Good, the treehouse is so nice, you need to go sometime." she said, Emily nodded.

"I really want to, we should all go sometime, us and Caspar and Oli and their partners, would be sick." Emily suggested, the others approved.

Shortly, Byron and Emily headed back out and left Joe and Di on their own again.

"I'm going to go pack for Australia, want to help?" she asked, going up to the room.

"Seeing as I love you."
