That next evening Joe was pottering around their bedroom, checking if any toiletries needed replacing and making the bed, changing the sheets if necessary. As he did so, he couldn't help but think about what Dianne was saying the previous day, how she was starting to blame herself for their lack of luck.

The last thing Joe wanted was for her to blame herself, and it wasn't something she could control. No one chooses how fertile they are, and whatever Dianne had been blessed with Joe didn't mind. He knew there were other ways of having children, but it did begin to make him lose hope. Despite his gradual loss of hope, he knew he needed to stay strong for Dianne, who was making them a lovely spaghetti for dinner, after all she was half Italian so her spaghetti was sure to impress.

Joe sat down on the end of the bed, knowing he needed to talk to Zoe, he wanted to just vent to her, get all of his worries out of his system, and Zoe was the perfect person to listen. Whenever Zoe had a worry, or some anxiety building up inside that she felt she couldn't control, she went to Joe, they went to each other.

Zoe was laying on the sofa, laptop on her lap and in a onesie when her phone rang. She smiled as the familiar 'Broseph❤️' came up.

"What's up, and how's operation foxtrot fetus?" Zoe asked, grinning as she heard him burst out into laughter over the end of the phone, she even had to move the device away slightly.

"We've tried twice, no luck."

Zoe sighed. "Maybe next time, positive vibes bro." Meanwhile Alfie came in the room, alan running in behind him and leaping onto Zoe's legs where the blanket was, laying there without a care in the world.

"Yeah, can I talk to you about something?"

"Sure."

"Di, she's been blaming herself, saying it's her fault and things like that. Obviously there are other ways like adoption and IVF, but how many tries do you think we should leave it before we see doctors, just in case."

Zoe took a breath, taking in everything he said. She herself had a fear of being infertile, so it was a sensitive topic for her. She knew it was still early days, but she tried to give a rational opinion.

"Well, obviously it's still early days, I'd say see how it goes and maybe after tour, seeing as you have free time maybe then?" She could see Alfie looking at her puzzled, she nodded telling him after, to which he nodded back and sat down and amused himself quietly.

"Yeah, that's probably the best idea. Thanks Zoe, and I think Di is calling me."

Zoe giggled. "Alright, I'll speak to you soon Broseph, positive breeds positive."

He chuckled. "See ya Zo."

She put the phone down before sighing and looking at Alfie. She knew how worrying it could be having had the same conversation with herself many a time. She opened up the laptop.

"They're worried about infertility, it's early days but...it's something that can get it your head, you know?"

Alfie came over, kissing her on the forehead.

"I know little one, and I'm taking nala out for a." He turned to the dog. "Walk." Nala jumped up immediately, leaping off the sofa and running circles in the centre of the living room.

Zoe had an idea, and smiled before answering. "I think she heard you, and I think I'll chill here if that's okay."

"Alright." He went over, putting nala on the lead. "I'll see you in a bit."

"See ya Alf." Zoe opened up the laptop, getting herself comfortable before finding her favourites. She grinned as she found the 'Zoe and Joe's stuff.' on the hardrive, opening up to the page where the little dress he liked was available to order. She also found the football t shirt, smiling to herself. She never thought she would be doing this, but was enjoying every moment.

"Positive breeds positive."

"Everything alright?" Dianne was busying herself in the kitchen, just having put the spaghetti in the cooking pot. Joe nodded, walking over and kissing her on the top of the head.

It made her blush. Every time.

"Yeah, I might as well get on with these dishes, they're not going to clean themselves." Dianne nodded, grabbing a tea towel.

"You wash, I'll dry." she suggested, the two beginning to tackle the small amount of dishes that had yet to be done

Six months ago, Joe would at this point would probably have been with the boys, all deciding which nightclub to attend that night. He would have been single and having the mindset that he wouldn't settle down for at least three years the way things had been going for him.

Some of his friends like Caspar and Oli had been in semi serious relationships for a while, and were planning on settling down. Joe felt like the world was moving around him, and he was slowly being left behind.

Yet here he was, doing the dishes with the love of his life, trying to conceive their first child together. He had become so much more domesticated, and had learnt to appreciate the little things in life weather it be brushing your teeth together, or lightheartedly arguing over which shampoo to use. He had become a changed man, and one Dianne Buswell had made one Joseph Sugg a very very happy man indeed.

This happiness was of course a two way street, and Dianne had fallen for Joe far more than she ever thought her heart was capable of. She had gone from being in a relationship with not much of a future, to another filled with love, laughter, dance and the hope of conception.

All they needed was hope, laughter, dance and love.

And of course, each other.
