"Remember Di, whatever happens, we can always try again right." Joe reassured, giving his beau a hug, she hugged back while pecking his cheek.

"I know, I won't be twenty minutes, love you." They pulled away, she went and grabbed her bag which had her purse in. He smiled.

"Love you too."

When Dianne left, Joe sighed, crossing his fingers before making himself useful in the kitchen. He began to do the dishes, thinking about how they would address the situation when the time came.

He knew that they would have to tell the world at some point, and as long as Dianne was happy with how it had went, so was he.

Throughout the majority of his adulthood most parts of his life were put out for the world to see, to comment on. It was part and parcel of being a social media influencer. Throughout his six years online, he had learnt how to deal with these things.

Dianne on the other hand, wasn't used to this level of publicity. She and Joe didn't really have much choice due to the rumours around strictly, but they knew that as long as they had each other, everything would be okay.

"Crap." Dianne muttered, seeing Amy in the pharmacy where she was headed. Despite being best friends on the show, they hadn't spoken in days. She was content to see her friend, despite the circumstances.

She entered casually, trying to think of what to say, she couldn't exactly blurt out we are trying for a child in public. If anyone overheard, the press would have a field day.

"Wait, Dianne?" Amy called out, smiling widely through an open mouthed smile. Needless to say, she had missed her best friend. Dianne went over and hugged her, visibly nervous.

"Oh hey Ames, didn't expect to see you for a few days, how's Ben?" Dianne and Amy wandered around boots, admiring all the makeup and other cosmetics on display.

Amy blushed. "He's amazing, he's at home just pottering. How is Mr Sugg?" Dianne smiled.

"He's alright, and happy new year, almost forgot." Dianne giggled, Amy gasped, having too forgotten it was January first. They both laughed. Amy picked up a lipstick.

"Oh I totally spaced, you too." Amy said, watching Dianne fidget nervously giving the 'I'm really nervous but I'm hiding something' vibe. Amy crossed her arms, wanting to help her best friend.

"Di, what's up, what are you not telling me." Amy sighed, Dianne bit her lip, checking if there were any other people around.

"You can't tell anyone Ames." she started, Amy rolled her eyes.

"Obviously, now spill the tea." Amy giggled.

"Me and Joe are trying for kids Ames." she said, going visibly red. Amy was about to cheer and scream but Dianne laughed and put a hand over her mouth.

"Oh my god Di that's amazing, just remember what you said to me. Positive breeds positive, literally." Amy explained. The two linked arms, going to the aisle where the pregnancy tests were.

"Literally." Dianne laughed. "But anyway, yeah, positive breeds positive."

"Joseph, you here?" Dianne asked, closing the door behind her. After bumping into Amy, she felt happier, Amy never failed to make her smile.

She saw Joe asleep on the sofa, bless him. She quietly put her things down in the kitchen, taking off her coat before tip toeing around to where he was. He was all comfy in his hoodie, smiling softly as he slept. She adjusted so she lay next to him having been pretty exhausted herself.

A mere few seconds after she laid down, he instantly adjusted himself to hold her, like second nature. Dianne smiled contently, feeling his chin rest loosely above her head.

Byron entered the house alone, closing the door behind him and seeing the two lovers snuggled on the sofa, sleeping soundly. He smiled and went into the kitchen. As he sat on one of the bar stools, he heard shuffling.

"Byron? Didn't realise you'd be back this early." Joe said groggily, getting up and wriggling around Dianne, careful not to wake her. Byron chuckled.

"It's five pm Joe, someone's tired." Joe sighed, running a hand down his face, he never meant to sleep this long. Byron went to hang up his coat but noticed the pink and white box halfway out of the boots bag, he looked at Joe.

Joe just sipped his water, Byron smiled.

"Was it planned or..."

"Yeah, we're trying. Don't tell the boys though, we will tell them if we conceive." Joe explained quietly, hoping Dianne would be at peace a little while longer.

"Oh nice, and you mean when you conceive. Positivity Joe, it works every time." Byron reminded, placing a hand on his shoulder. The two boys smiled, before hearing footsteps come towards them.

Dianne, still waking up, went over to Joe who she wrapped her arms around from the side, stirring slightly. "Oh hey Byron, happy new year."

"Oh yeah you too Di, and good luck with baby sugg, positive breeds positive."

Dianne grinned, since she had started using that phrase it had become a motto among the people they knew, she truly had influenced those around her. She had positivity in abundance, she sprinkled it around like confetti, enlightening all those around her.

"Thanks Byron, and I think I best be getting on with it." she said, knowing the longer she put it off the more anxious she would become, and the more she might get her hopes up. Joe nodded, pecking her lips.

"Good luck, call me up whenever you need."

So she set off, Joe instantly feeling an overwhelming sense of nerves, curiosity and excitement course through every crevice of his precence, in the hope that positive did in fact breed positive.
