3 months later ...

These last couple of months I have really been struggling with the bills and buying groceries . I didn't wanna tell Dave because he has helped me enough long as DJ was straight I was also .
I walked in the house to see the lights off and cursed at myself and just slid to the ground . I prayed to god hoping that he would help me out this one time I hated DJ seeing me like this. There was a knock at the door so I stood up and got myself together to answer it.
"Hey Dave , heyyy momma's big boy ," I said kissing his cheeks while he giggled and ran past me up the stair to his room.
"So wassup you saving energy or something why the lights off ?" I held my head down, I didn't wanna say anything but I had to put my pride to the side for my baby boy.
"They cut the lights off," I slightly mumbled. Dave stood there shaking his head.
"Why didn't you say anything Tiff if you was having trouble with the bills," I shrugged my shoulders.
"I was going to fix it I promise I was then my hours got cut at work so it was pick and choice so one month I choose the lights over cable , this money I chose groceries over lights," I said with my head down.
He picked my head up with his finger. "Baby girl listen to me I know we not a couple anymore but don't ever be afraid to ask me for anything you don't have to be strong all along Tiffany , you have my baby boy you know imma make sure y'all both straight ya hear me ." I looked in his eyes and smiled because this was the Dave I missed and needed around badly. He reached and touched my face and slowly moved in to kiss me .
Now we have kissed several times but this felt so calm , compassionate, and as if he still loved me. He pulled away and said "imma handle the bills for you ma don't worry kiss DJ for me ," and out the door he went.
Dave's still in love with me ?
