It was mid-way through summer as Sanya dodged her way through the streets of London, ducking and squeezing through crowds until her end destination came into view.
The small bell rung as she stepped into the shop, her eyes scanning for Pe- books. Good books to fill her summer afternoons with.

Sanya was in a regular happy mood- it had been a couple of months and she was clearly not pregnant!

Plus, both Edmund and her Peter were working quite smoothly on the transference of soul, as they called it.

Not to mention, Lilith had saved up enough for a flat, which she was looking for, which made her happy... and sad....
It was best not to dwell on that part right now.

"Hi, Pe- why do you have a hat on indoors?" Sanya stopped short at the sight of the conical, bright hat on Peter Parker's head.

"My aunt made me wear it." He rolled his pretty brown eyes fondly. "Birthday."

"Oh, I didn't know, happy birthday!" Sanya smiled. "How old?"

"18, I'd be enlisting had the war not been over."

Sanya suddenly thought of Ed and pushed it away.

"I'm glad you aren't." She said instinctively and was surprised at the amount of truth in it. "Big boy now, Petey."

"Yeah..." He blushed, rubbing the back of his neck. "Got some new releases for you-"

"Oh great." She beamed.

"Got to ask you something though, first."

Sanya's eyes lifted from the many book covers to meet his.
"Hm?"

"Well- it's just, I was wondering if you'dgooutwithme?" He only half managed, which was completely unintelligible to Sanya.
"In English?"

He chuckled nervously, a hand sliding to the back of his neck.
"Would you like to go out, sometime?" He asked clearer. "With me? If not, it's okay but- it'd be nice... is all."

"Oh." Sanya blinked very rapidly and her heart seemed to expand in her chest- but she didn't know if it was good or not.

"It's completely alright if you say no!" Peter almost shouted, half in tears at agonising her. "I know you, you and Edmund are-"

"Divorced parents." The edges of Sanya's lips quirked into half a smile.

Peter clearly hadn't wanted to say that, but he nodded. "Yes, and you've got a LOT of history, I mean, you were married and even if it weren't for him, it's alright if you don't want to go on a date with me. I don't mind at all, I mean a little, but-"

"Alright." Sanya said quietly but her words nearly deafened him.

"What?" Peter's eyes widened almost comically, his hat falling off.

"I'll go out with you." Sanya decided aloud, watching in half defeat, half with fondness as he bent down to retrieve his hat, clearly trying to hide his smile.
"I- that's great! Really great! Where will you want to go? There's a dance hall, or they show movies down the road from here on Tuesdays! Or we could go for a meal or... or..." his brows narrowed slightly as he pondered for more date ideas.
"Or anything else. I really don't mind." He finished, looking to her

"I don't mind, you can take me out wherever you like." Sanya smiled, ignoring the wrench in her heart and focusing on Peter's glowing smile.

"That's, that's- oh man, I have to start planning now!" He tugged at his hair nervously.

"Oh," Sanya started, not wanting to see Peter go into hysterics. "Don't worry, I'm a simple girl. I'll be fine if you just buy me a vanilla ice cream and take me on a walk, or picnic."
