"You what?" Elsa gasped. She kneeled by them. "What did you do?" She asked.
"We cast spell on him," replied Bulda, twiddling her fingers.
"Tell me everything. It's important," Elsa said seriously.
"Well, we kind of put Hans in a spell. We were able to see that he was about to save her with a true love's kiss, because we thought that's what was needed to thaw Anna's frozen heart. To prevent this, we put a spell on him to make him think he didn't actually love Anna and also to provide a different way for Anna to get her heart thawed. We assumed that way would be for Kristoff to kiss her, but because of the spell, Hans provided that way for her by trying to kill you so that she would sacrifice her life for yours as an act of true love." explained one of the trolls.
"So you're meaning to tell me that Hans... does, love Anna?" Elsa asked slowly.
The trolls sighed. "Yes, Your Majesty." said Bulda.
Elsa sat there, silent for a moment. "I-I have to... go. Thank you all." said Elsa, mounting her horse.

Elsa started towards the Southern Isles. The bag attached to the saddle was moving back and forth, muffled shouts erupting from it. "Woah." Elsa said to the horse, pulling back on the reigns and sliding off her horse. She opened the bag.
"Let me go!" shouted a troll, jumping up , attempting to get out of the bag. Elsa picked him up. "Why did you bring me here?" he asked.
"I hate to do this but I need someone to witness that you had cast the spell on Hans." explained Elsa.
"Why didn't you ask?" said the troll.
"I know you guys wouldn't want to."
"Whoever would listen to a troll?"
"Everyone. Trolls are truthful. It's in their blood."
"Why do you feel the need to do this?"
"Hans isn't guilty, and he loves Anna. I know, she and Kristoff are happy, but true love can't be forced like it was. Hans and Anna, I saw them. They really go together well."
"What's going to make me do this?"
"A way back to your family. We're deep enough in these woods that it would take years to find your family." said Elsa. "I'm sorry it came to this."
"...fine." the troll grumbled as he was set back into the bag.
Elsa went back onto the horse, and continued the journey. By water would have been faster, but there were ways by land, and she needed to get the troll.
As the forest thinned and she came upon the Southern Isles, she pulled up the hood of her cloak.
"Here goes nothing." she murmured to herself, making her way through the streets.
