"No, no, no, no, no. This can't be happening." Jinyoung mumbled, ripping his eyes off of Jaebum to look at Mark.

"What's wrong?" Mark asked, slightly panicked at how terrified Jinyoung looked.

"I'll tell you later but please, let's go." Jinyoung practically begged, his senses filled with Jaebum and only Jaebum.

"Okay." Mark shakily let out and stood up, grabbing his stuff and following Jinyoung towards the door.

Jinyoung passed by Jaebum and he had to hold himself back from touching him but he did however sent Jaebum and nasty look that told him not to say anything to him.

And with that, he left the cafe and his mate.

*

This is bullshit. Jaebum thought, running a hand through his hair in frustration.

Why, just why? Of course my mate had to be that loser. Jaebum didn't even get his coffee, he just left the cafe and went home.

*

Jinyoung was beyond nervous for school, he didn't want to see or hear anything about Jaebum.

He was supposed to feel happy when he found his mate but all he felt was dread.

With a sigh, Jinyoung went downstairs and was about to leave when he heard his mom call his name.

"Lord, give me strength." Jinyoung mumbled as he turned around and headed towards the kitchen where his mom was.

"Aren't you gonna eat?" Mrs. Park asked, showing Jinyoung that she was cooking eggs.

"I'm not hungry." Jinyoung lied, he just didn't want to stay in the house with her for longer.

"Eat." She snapped, getting a plate for Jinyoung.

Jinyoung silently rolled his eyes and gave her a fake smile when she handed him the plate.

"Have you found your mate yet?" She asked, leaning against the counter and watching her son eat.

"Um... not yet." Jinyoung hesitated, his eyes burning holes on the eggs because if he made eye contact with his mom, she would know that he's lying.

And she doesn't like being lied to.

"If you'd just let your father and I find you a mate, you would be a lot happier." She sang, going over to the sink to wash the dishes.

"You know I don't want that." Jinyoung gritted out, stabbing his eggs with the fork.

"I don't think it's up to you anymore, remember what we talked about?" She asked, pausing to look up at Jinyoung.

Of course Jinyoung remembers, the deal was that if he got a 100 on the test than he could wait to find his mate but he didn't. Instead, he got a beating and now they're gonna pair him up with a random loser.

But Jaebum was his mate, and he didn't want that. But Jaebum was his mate for a reason.

"I'm gonna wait for my mate." Jinyoung stood up, dropping the fork onto the plate.

"No, you're not. Wait till I tell your father about this." She smirked smugly and crossed her arms over his chest.

"Listen, you don't get to take the only thing that's left for me. You took my childhood, my liberty, my innocent... and you sold my virginity. My mate is mine and you won't take that away." Jinyoung let out, grabbing his backpack and taking his leave but stopped once he heard what his mother said.

"It was for your good." Jinyoung almost laughed at that, how pathetic could she get.

"I didn't need a man to rape me for that." Jinyoung's voice almost cracked, he opened the door and slammed it shut behind him before he could hear anything else.

*

"I don't know, Mark. I'm gonna be in so much trouble today." Jinyoung leaned against the locker, regretting his choices.

"Just tell them you have a mate already." Mark sighed, but Jinyoung just wouldn't listen.

"I have to talk to Jaebum first." Jinyoung looked at the end of the hallways when he caught the smell of Jaebum.

Jinyoung watched as Jaebum and Jackson walked down the hallway, Jaebum's eyes looking at anything but Jinyoung. As he was gonna walk past Jinyoung, Jaebum reached out and grabbed Jinyoung's wrist, taking him somewhere else, leaving Mark and Jackson confused.

Along with the rest of the school who watched the two people that hated each other leave together.
