"I wonder when I'll find my mate." Jackson told Jaebum as they walked the school halls.

"I try not to think about that, when they come then they'll come." Jaebum shrugged as he adjusted the backpack on his shoulder.

"Of course you don't think about that, you have a lot more stuff to worry about." Jackson said as they stopped by his locker.

Jaebum sighed as he silently agreed with Jackson, he was future alpha and he had a lot of stuff to learn. Finding his mate was the least of his worries.

"Look who's over there." Jackson smirked at Jaebum and motioned for him to turn around.

Jaebum slyly looked over his shoulder and when his eyes landed on Park Jinyoung, he scoffed.

"Why must you ruin my morning?" Jaebum asked as he turned back to Jackson.

"He's turning 18 this week and everyone is hoping to be his mate." Jackson laughed as he observed Jinyoung.

"Well they're idiots cause that guy is a complete jerk." Jaebum crosses his arms over his chest.

"He's only a jerk to you. This competition to be the top of the class has caused so much hate between each other." Jackson shook his head as he closed his locker.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah. I pray for his mate." Jaebum mumbled and rolled his eyes. He started walking to class with Jackson right behind him but not before throwing a glance over his shoulder only to find Jinyoung already looking at him.

Jinyoung smirked and gave Jaebum a wink that made him angry on so many levels. Jaebum looked forward, extended his arm to the side to punch the lockers beside him causing Jackson to jump.

And the last think he heard before the turned the corner was Jinyoung's annoying laugh.

i'm trying to broaden my writing ability and this book will be the experiment. expect heartbreak.
