"We need to get out" I muttered "We need to get out, girls how do we get out?"

"Well, we can't go that way" Zoe pointed towards the classroom door.

"So that leaves the window as our only option" I look toward the window and open it. We are in the OG section of the school, which is a cluster of one story buildings with six or so classes in each building. So... maybe we could just hop out the window? I asked myself unsure. I look around to make sure it is clear.

"Let's just make a mad dash to the car" Zoe suggested.

"Ok let's do that" Sariah nods her head in agreement the beginnings of her game 'face' starting to take form.

"We can't I don't have my keys they are in the office on the other side of campus."

"Maybe we should just stay here and wait for help, I mean if they where able to get into the room they probably would have done so already" Sariah stutters with fear laced in her voice.

"I don't think help is coming, Sariah" I told her gently "My calls can't even get through to the 911 call center"

"She is right Sariah we have to get out of her on our own" Zoe says her eye on the open window.

"I really don't want to go out there right now" Sariah cried behind her hand her false bravado cracked under the pressure of uncertainty.

"We are all scared, Love" I said gently "But we can't let that fear cripple us. We are not safe here we need to get out and head to my house and regroup with our parents, Ok?"

Sariah nodded, I can tell she is on the verge of a mental breakdown but I hope she keeps it together until we at least get to the car.

"Sariah hunny deep breaths we have to go back out there, ok?"

Sariah nodded putting her brave face back on.

"Ok! We have a simple plan. Office, keys, car. Office, keys, car. Office, keys, car. Cool"

"You sound like The Map." Sariah chuckled

"Bush, Forest, Doras house. Bush, Forest, Doras house. Bush, forest, Doras house." Zoe mocked.

"Focus girls"! I snapped at them to get back to the situation at hand.

"Okay, Okay! How are we going to get to the office?" Zoe asks

Whoever designed this school designed it for the time and not for growth. I sighed "Well we can picture the school like a triangle. The Court yard is the point, the OG campus is to the left of the courtyard and the new school building is to the right of the courtyard. Right now we are in the OG campus. The attack on us happened in the main courtyard so we can assume that the population is going to be dense around that area. We can stick to outer boundary of the school and come around to the office crawl through an open window then follow the same path back around to the parking lot."

"What if there is one of them blocking the path?"

"We enter the nearest slipway and into a hopefully empty classroom."

"It's a good thing none of us are over weight". Zoe joked

It is a good thing indeed the slipway of the schools are narrow spaces between the buildings. When the school was built the idea was for one building to hold four variations of a subject. Now the buildings are separated by grade and class. The newer larger buildings of the school is the only building that holds multiple subjects for multiple classes and grades, they also put the administrative offices in there including the main office where students who drive to school must turn in their keys. The student designated parking is located near the OG buildings while the teachers and visitors parking is near the new building.
