HOMEROOM C1

"The security room has cameras and monitors. We can see where the danger areas are and plan the safest route to the car." I explain while mentally patting myself on the back.

Aidon thought about it and nods his agreement. We got up and made our way to the security room which is at the end of the hall. Aidon leads the way followed by me, Cali, Sariah, Zoe, and Logan bringing up the rear. Aidon held up his hand for us to stop at an intersection.

He looked around the corner to make sure it is safe before giving us the signal to continue on.

"Almost there, almost there, almost there" I begin to chant.

"You saying it over and over isn't going...."

"Aaaaaaaahhhhhh"

We both turn on our heels to find Cali pointing and screaming her lungs out at the student at the other end of the intersection. The once quiet hall suddenly erupted into sounds of gurgling groans and stomping feet.

"Stupid bitch" Aidon cursed under his breath as he encouraged us to make haste to the security room. Unfortunately it was blocked by a mob of students whom where baring down on us with great speed. We turn and ran in the opposite direction only to meet more students, once again we turned on our heels.

"Quick find an open classroom" Aidon ordered jiggling door handles.

"In here!" Explained the moment I realized the nob gave way.

Sariah and Zoe rushed in followed by Logan, Cali ,and Aidon last. I closed the door before any of the students could realize where we have gone. If we are lucky maybe they will move on within a few hours. One observation I noticed is that the students tend to stick around only if they know something or someone is in the area.

"Whoa! Don't attack we are alive?" Logan exclaims

I turn to see two students dressed in their baseball uniform. Both held blood covered steel bats in their hands raised over their heads at the ready.

"Jonah you idiot you didn't lock the door!" said the larger one

"I am sorry I forgot. Simple tasks like locking doors tends to slip your mind when one is being chased by cannibals." Said another student who is ducked somewhere between the chairs.

There was a small click behind me as Aidon engaged the lock on the door.

"We are not cannibals" Aidon said stepping towards the two bat wielding students.

"We don't know that?" Said the larger baseball player

"Sure you do" I said "What are three things the Cannibals have that we do not?"

"Well... you're talking" Said Jonah getting up from his hiding position.

"Your eyes are normal" Said the second baseball player.

"And we are not trying to eat you" Zoe finished "If we have to do this every time we bump into someone we will never get out of here."

"I'm Aidon, hot mouth over there is Zoe..." Zoe ignored him and sat in the nearest desk chair. "her friends Khione and Sariah..." Sariah and I waved. "This is Logan and behind him is Cali"

"I'm Jonah but you guys already knew that. Number 17 is Gavin and number 5 is Thomas."

"How long have you guys been stuck here." Aidon asked

"An hour maybe two" Gavin answered.

The door shuddered violently. Cali jumped away from it and would screamed if Zoe hadn't restrained her.
