Natalie's POV

I got off the plane and headed to the baggage lane to grab my luggage. While i was waiting for them, i could only think of David and I wondered if he had changed. Like not in a physical way but like if he had started to drink and smoke or something. I've watched his vlogs and stuff but I haven't watched one in like a month and a lot of things can happen in a month. I snapped out of my thoughts as i saw my black and white, marbled suitcase get closer to me. I grabbed my luggage and headed for the door to exit the airport and as I exited those doors i realized that I was only an hour away from my best friend, that I haven't seen in like 4 years. I start to feel my eyes burning, I'm about to cry about my best friend! I laugh at myself and sigh as I breathe in the California air. I pulled out my phone to call Zane, he was the one helping me to surprise David. Me and him met like 2 years ago when I needed help moving my stuff in my apartment and neither David or Ilya could help so David sent Zane and I really like him, he's very funny.

"Hey!" I say excitedly in the phone "well hi, you sound excited" he says laughing through the phone. "I am!" I yell though the phone. "Oww" he says referring to his, probably broken ear drums. I start laughing. "Ok I'm about two minutes away" he says "ok see you in two minutes" i say back to him but as I'm about to hang up I remember I wanted to get something to David from the store "hey wait" i say through the phone hoping he wouldn't hang up. "Yes?" He says confusedly "um can we go bye the store before we go to David's house?" I say hoping he would say yes. " uh sure?" He said not knowing why I wanted to go. "Ok thx" i say excitedly "ok I'll be there like any minute" he says as i see him pulling in the parking lot. "Ok i see you bye" i say "bye" he says and i hang up the phone and head to the edge of the curb and he pulled up and i put my stuff in the back and I get in the passenger seat of his car.

We soon pulled up to the store and i ran inside and i  went towards the ice cream area, cause we all know ice cream is the best when you're heartbroken. I then went to the snacks and got his favorite midnight snacks. I checked out and ran back to Zane's car. "David's favorite ice cream and snacks?" He says questionably "well yea I can't show up to his house empty handed" i say not knowing if he told him about the break up. "Ok" he sighs out and puts the car in drive and we're now off to David's house!

We pull up to David's house and I start to feel anxious. What if he doesn't want to see me? What if he has changed? What if he- I was interrupted in my thoughts by Zane. "Ok we're here, also I'm going to have to drop you off cause i have something to fo with Scott but I'll pick you up later" he says referring  about me staying at his house "ok, thanks again" i say smiling as i open the door " hey it's no problem" he says smiling back. I grab my grocery bag and I shut the door to Zane's car and wave bye to him as he drives down the driveway. I turn around on my heel and i sigh heavily as I soon regret coming here. Yes, I miss him and I wanna make him feel better it's just what if he doesn't love me anymore? I walk up his driveway and smile to myself, he made his dream come true. His house was so beautiful. I walk up to his door and notice that it's glass and that if I knocked he would see me standing in front of it. I decided I would just knock and then stand to the side.

Ok you got this Natalie. I say to myself, trying to calm my nerves. I go up to the door and i put my hand up to the door, i take a deep breath, in and out, in and out. I knock twice and then I scoot myself to the side of the door so he couldn't see me, and now i  have to wait until he opens the door.

David's POV

I had been crying over Liza all day. I hadn't even posted a vlog yet. Natalie made me feel a little bit better last night but i have no clue why she had to go, she usually doesn't have to get up that early and the only reason she would is for school but she doesn't have school no more. I decided to get out of my bed today even though I didn't want to but i was getting hungry and i had left my phone in the living room. So the only way to post mate food was with my phone. I get up and grab my phone off the couch and i go to the post mate app and get my usual burrito from Chipotle. After paying for it and putting in my address information I sat back on the couch and decided to watch a movie but me being the stupid person i am, I picked probably the saddest movie ever and I cried a lot. So now my face was more puffier than normal and it was stained with tears, my hair was going in every other direction and i still had the same clothes on from 2 days ago. I was a mess.

"I should take a shower" i said out loud to myself, i got up and turned my music on the tv on and my house then was filled with the lyrics of neon moon by Kasey Mustgraves. Right as i was heading to the bathroom I heard I knock on the door, the post mates. I say referring to the person at the door.

No one's POV

David expected to open the door and see a random stranger delivering him his burrito but instead he saw his best friend, that he hasn't seen in 4 years. He opens the door and sees no one until Natalie jumps out from the other side of the door. David was frozen, he hadn't seen her in forever and soon his eyes were beginning to burn and then he let it all out and started to sob. Natalie was just standing there until she saw her best friend start to cry and she ran to him and hugged him. She missed him so much, and he missed her. David hugged back and began to sob more "I've mi-missed y-you" he says between sobs. "I've miss-missed you to-too" Natalie says choking on her own words. They were both just standing in David's driveway sobbing and hugging. Natalie pulled away and looked David up and down "Davey" she said hugging him again. They both felt like it was only them in the whole world and in that moment they wanted that to be true no matter what. It was out of a movie like when the camera just spins around the two people who are hugging and the music plays louder while they hug, well that's what it was like, and when they stopped hugging it was out of a movie cause when they stopped they heard "oh, if you loose your one and only.." Natalie sang "theres always room here for the lonely.." David continued "to watch your broken dreams dance in and out of the beams of a neon moon" they both sang out. They then smiled to each other and hugged again. "I love you" David said, rubbing Natalies back. It was like a pound of bricks was lifted off of Natalie's chest when he said that. "I love you too" she said back and with that, they both went back inside and sat on the couch.
