(Hey so i totally am changing this up from what it use to be. I messed up and forgot some details and I'm sorry for that but I'm going to change and as you're reading this it's already changed but it was different. Anyways I love y'all and get ready to have your mind blown)

Natalie's POV

(So lets pretend that Natalie can sing and that Pity Party is actually a song by her and that Natalie does a bunch of covers on other artists🙂)

"It's my party and I'll cry if I want to, cry if I want to, (cry, cry, cry)." I sing out the last lyrics and turn off the recording button. I sigh as I realize this is probably complete trash. I had been staying at Zane's house, well Zane, Todd, Matt and Jason's house, and I've been using Todd's piano and I've wanted to bring out my singing a little but I'm terrible and that's why no one knows. That's why I only sing when no one's at the house. "Hey Nat" Zane says snapping me out of my thoughts. "Hey" I say closing my computer. "How was shopping?" I ask as he sets his bags on the table. "Well it was great and I got a little something for your birthday!" He says excitedly, I roll my eyes and get up from the couch. "What?" I ask smiling. "Ok close your eyes" he says digging in one of the bags. "Fine" I say as I put my hands over my eyes. "Ok in 3... 2... 1.... open your eyes" he says holding out the present in his hands. I pick up the small, wrapped gift and begin to open it. It revealed a rustic treasure chest with a little latch to open it. I looked in the box to see a polaroid of me and mom. I haven't seen her in a couple of months. I instantly look at Zane and give him a big hug. "Thank you" I say to him as he hugs back. "There's more" he says letting go of me. I looked at him confusedly and looked back at the small box. I picked up the polaroid and underneath it was a necklace.

It had a gold chain and at the end was a gold bar that had the date of '09.28.04'. I flipped it over on the back to see a message that said "I knew we would be best friends from the start -david" The date was when me and David first meet, at school. I start to feel my eyes water as I remember all the fun time's we had. "Do you like it?" Zane asks. "I love it" I say as a tear runs down the side of my face. "Aww baby" Zane says hugging me. "He gave this to you didn't he?" I ask him. "Yes" he says frowning. "He said he didn't know if you wanted him at your birthday so he wanted me to give it to you" Zane says walking in to the kitchen. I go back over to the couch and decided to text David.

To David: thank you

From David: no problem

I smile at the text and help Zane with his stuff.

David's POV

She liked my gift. I sit in my bed, staring at the message she sent. I feel as a hot tear runs down my cheek. I quickly wipe it and turn my attention back to my computer. I begin to edit the video we did when we were responding to Jeff but I stop when I hear my phone go off, it was a text from the vlog squad group chat.

Matt: 6:00

Jason: can't wait!

Jeff: can't wait, to see you nat

Zane: why tf are you still in here?

David kicked Jeff out of the conversation

Toddy: cuz i want to hear what he has to say

Matt: I'm so confused

Zane: he's lying about everything

It was like an awkward moment and everything went silent. No one answered after that, it went dead. I turn my phone off and sigh. We just started a lot of more shit. I start to cry as I feel embarrassed. I'm so fucking stupid. I cry into my pillow and try to fall asleep to get these thoughts out of my head but I realized I have the answer to all my problems right in front of me. The video.
