David's POV

Me and Natalie have been sitting on the couch and talking for a while and it's been great. I haven't felt this happy in years. I mean I've been happy with Liza but it's different with Natalie. "Hey do you want to order some food" i say noticing that it was now 7:00pm "uh sure, if that's ok?" She asks nervously "Nat you know that you don't need to be nervous, it's just me" i say trying to make her feel better. "Ok it's just I don't want to be in the way" she says "Nat I promise you'll never be in the way when you're with me, i love that you came all this way to cheer me up" i say placing my hand on her back. "Ok" she says smiling. I get up from the couch and order chipotle for the second time today.

No one's POV

They both sat on the couch, enjoying each other's company. They didn't have to talk to make it comfortable, they were already comfortable. They were both watching 'funny meme' videos on YouTube and all you could hear in the room was each other's laughs. Natalie would sometimes glance at David to see his perfect smile and it made her smile because she knew she was the reason that he is smiling, he wasn't just smiling at the cat that didn't make it from the dresser to the bed, he was smiling cause he had his best friend to see it with him. He wasn't alone. He had Natalie with him, she was now his ride or die, not his Yang to her yang, but  they both  knew that it wasn't that hard to think about.

Natalie's POV

I looked over to see my best friend smiling again, I've missed it a lot. He then looked over to me and saw me looking at him. "What!?" He says giggling "nothing" i say smiling and looking back at the tv. I start to feel me cheeks to heat up, am I blushing! Why am I blushing? I've never felt this way around David. I get snapped out of my thoughts when I hear the doorbell ring. "I'll get it" David says getting off the couch. David then comes back with a bag of chipotle in his hands. "Come get your food" he says from the kitchen. "Ok I'm coming" i say getting off the couch, i go and grab my burrito and sit at the table "thanks" i say to David who sits with me "no problem" he says smiling and we both start to eat our dinner.

10:00pm

"Well I better call Zane" i say sitting up on the couch. "Why?" David asks confusedly "cause i need to sleep somewhere, and my stuff is with him" i say grabbing my phone. "You can stay here" he says clearly not wanting me to go. "I can't, I've already invaded enough" i say laughing "you're not invading and please" he says begging. Something makes me feel like I want to say yes and not just cause he's asking me to, like something is telling me to stay so i can stay with him longer. I shake off the feeling and decide to just stay with David. "Ok finnnne" i say to him smiling "but what am I going to wear?" i say referring to my outfit that I would rather not fall asleep in. David gets up and goes in his room and he comes back out with a red, clearly his, clickbait shirt and red with white stripes sweatpants. "Just like old times" he says referring to the times i would stay at his house and wear his clothes. "Whatever" i say to him rolling my eyes playfully and smiling. I grab the shirt and pants and go to the bathroom, down the hall to change.

I guess the pants were his too cause they are really big on me. I unlock the door and go back down the hallway and to see David on the couch editing, he looks up and smiles. I blush a little, again?! What is going on with me! Am I falling for my best friend!

No one's POV

Natalie doesn't know what's going on with her feelings. She doesn't know if it's cause she actually likes David or if she just needs someone who's more than a best friend. Her and her boyfriend broke up a year ago and she told David but hers wasn't as important since they had only been dating for about 5 months. So they're was no point for David to fly out and comfort her, also she had Ilya anyways.

Natalie never thought of David as hot but her sitting there next to him, watching as he edits, he looked hotter than ever. They way he was so focused on the computer and how his jaw clenched when he would mess up, or the way he would smirk at the jokes that were made. Natalie never felt so turned on in a while but as soon as she noticed she was staring she quickly looked down at her feet and she felt her cheeks get pinker and hotter, she didn't believe that she could feel this way for her best friend, but what she didn't know was that David felt the same.

David's POV

When i saw her come out the bathroom with my clothes on, I felt different. She would always wear my clothes when we hung out but for some reason this time I wanted to see what else she looked good in.
Oh no!

Shit! I can't....

I'm falling for my best friend.
