"And don't forget, we're going to be watching a documentary about jazz tomorrow."
Margaret's music teacher, Mrs. Arnold told her students.

They were surprisingly no groans. It seem like everyone, including Margaret, wants to learn about jazz. Lately, Mrs. Arnold had the class listening to Louis Armstrong and John Coltrane.

Margaret grew up around jazz. While living in Chicago when she was six, her late grandfather use to play a lot of greats. Her all time favorite is Ella Fitzgerald. On this day, she still listens.

The bell ringed as everyone got up from their seats and scurried out of the class.

"Ms. Jackson, can I please talk to you?"
She asked as she took a seat on the edge of her desk.

Margaret turn around and walk towards her.
"Yes?"
She answered.

"I want to say that I am very proud, still am, of you and the DeBarge kids performance. You guys really put on a show."
Mrs. Arnold beamed.

Margaret smiled widely.
Even if it was a new week, everyone in the school was still talking about it.

"Thank you."

"You're so welcome."

Margaret stood in front of her locker and put her books inside.
She felt someone next to her then a kiss was planted on her cheek.

"Hey dollface!"
El greeted causing Margaret to close her locker as she giggled.

He showered her with kisses while she tried to fight him off.

"El! You're going to get us in trouble!"
Margaret told him, giggling in between.

"Because I'm in love with you?"
El asked.

Margaret playfully hit his chest as she proceeded to grab her books for drama class.
"How was your class?"

"Good, we're going to be watching a jazz documentary tomorrow."
Margaret answered as her and El walked to her class.

"Cool! I wish I was in that class, you know I love jazz."
El hinted.

"I know you do."
Margaret smiled as El came closer to her face.

"Just like I love your beautiful ass."
He whispered causing Margaret to gasp and playfully push him.

El caught his balance as he cackled.
He throw his arm across her shoulder.

"You are too much but I don't care, I love it."
Margaret kissed his nose.

"Bunny acted a fool in drama, you should see how she was reading her lines in Romeo and Juliet."
James giggled.

The gang were in the car as they were driving home from school.

"She kept messing up, saying: Romero, oh, Romero."
James did his impersonation on his sister as they laughed.

"Now you know I don't sound like that but nice try."
Bunny told her brother as she looked out of her window.
