l pulled up in front of his house as he turn off his car and hopped out. He peeked his head in, looking both ways before noticing that the close is clear. After dinner, he went to the jewellery store and bought Margaret a necklace that he custom made for her. It was a gift to show how much he appreciated her. He hopes she like it.
Before he could go upstairs, El instantly froze when he saw the light flick on in the living room.
"Hi brother." James greeted as he took a bite of his Oreo.
El sighed and place his hand over his racing heart. "Whew, I thought you were Marg. What are you doing up?"
"What are you doing out?" James asked as he took a sip of his chocolate milk.
El rolled his eyes. "I ask you a question first."
"So did I." James mocked, smirking.
"You know what, I'm not about to go back and forth with you. Goodnight." El marched upstairs but was stopped again by his brother.
"You dropped something." James singed as El turn around.
He was holding the small blue box as he still had that goofy smirk plastered on his face. El jogged down the steps to retrieve it.
"Is this an engagement ring?" James opened but El snatched it on time.
"No, it's for Margaret." El answered as he proceeded up the stairs.
"Geez, no need to be rude." James held up his hands and walk over to the couch as he sat down, continuing to eat his cookies and milk.
"Hey." El came back downstairs.
James turned his head away from the TV. "I apologize for being so mean. You're my brother and I'm not suppose to treat you like that."
James smiled. "It's ok, I forgive you."
El smiled back as he sat next to his brother. "Did you want to see what I got her?"
James nodded his head quickly.
