MARGARET | MARGIE.

Margaret awakened once the alarm clock went off. She rubs her eyes and look up at El who was sleeping. She thought he must have been in a deep sleep for him to not be awaken by that.

She giggle to herself and carefully unwrap her arms from his waist as she reaches over to stop the alarm from buzzing even more.

After sitting there for a few minutes, Margaret got up and went to use the bathroom then come back out to get her clothes as she starts her morning.

"Bunny? Margaret? Which color looks pretty on my lips?" Sylvia asked, facing the girls as she was holding two different lip colors on both sides of her face. One was red, the other was a dark red.

The three were at the local makeup store. Looking and shopping around. They have to be watchful of their budget since they're planning to go for food afterwards.

Bunny and Margaret exchanged looks as they laugh.

"You know you love you some red lipstick."
Bunny stated.

"It's true and it's all I wear." Sylvia confessed.

"You need to try a different color, like, a pink." Margaret suggested.

Sylvia look at her, unsurely.
"You think that would look good on me?"

"Of course! You're a very alluring girl, I believe that every color looks good on you." Margaret assured.

Sylvia smiled a bit and nod.
"Ok, I'll get the pink but I'm still keeping these two."

Margaret, Bunny, and Sylvia shared a laugh as they continued to shop until going to the register to pay for their items.

"Margie, you didn't tell us how it went between you and your mom yesterday?" Bunny reminded as Sylvia nods.

Margaret didn't know if she should tell anybody or not. She wanted to keep a secret but again, Sylvia and Bunny were like her family.

"It went well until my mom told me something I wish I never knew." Margaret explained, tucking her hair behind her ear as she ate more of clam chowder soup.

"What did she tell you?" Bunny wondered, eyebrows furrowing.

"My dad was actually murdered because he cheated on my mom with another women." Margaret answered. She earned a gasp from both of them.

"Really? Margaret, that's crazy." Bunny said.

"I agree." Sylvia adds.

"Right. I got so mad to where I almost stormed out of the restaurant and went to the graveyard to spit on his tombstone. I know it sounds silly and he's my dad. I've always thought he loved my mom and would never cheat on her. They were like the best couple." Margaret let out a sigh, remembering the moments she shared with her parents.

"Aww, Margie." Sylvia got up from her seat and went over next to Margaret as she comforts her.

"Hehe. Thanks Sylvie. I know he is not here to defend himself and I don't know how long I'm going to get over this. Once she told me, I looked at him in a different way." Margaret shakes her head.

"It's not going to be for long." Bunny believed.

Margaret shrugged her shoulders and lays her head on top of Sylvia's.

Silence stayed with them for a few seconds before Sylvia sat up and look down at her lap. "I've got an announcement to make." She spoke, making Margaret and Bunny look at her.

Before they could say anything, Sylvia slowly raises her hand, showing off the beautiful diamond ring.

Margaret's eyes almost fell out of their sockets.
She squeals, smiling as she grabbed her hand to examine the ring.

"What happened?" Bunny asked.

"Hehe, James gave me this promise ring yesterday while we were taking a night stroll. It almost felt like we were getting married." Sylvia laughed.

"It is so precious, Sylvie. I know your ex could never."
Margaret dissed, earning a laugh from Bunny.

Sylvia smacked her teeth.
"Of course. His cheap ass. He could barely pay his bills."

"Whoa." Margaret laughed.

ELDRA | EL.

"El, I can't wait to perform at the club! I know we're going to do great!" James beamed.

"Same here, bubby." El pinches his brother's cheek as he playfully swat his hand away. He laughs and went into the kitchen where he got him a cold beverage. All that singing made him thirsty.

He just got finished practicing their song they were going to be singing tomorrow night at the club. El was excited just like his brother. It was their last practice and he knows they were about to rock the house.

El leaned against the counter, taking another sip of the root beer.

The sound of the front door opening indicates to him that his sisters and Margaret were home.

After spending a whole day, he can tell they are tired. A smile stretched across his face as he put down his pop and walk out of the kitchen.

"My baby's home." El cooed, wrapping his arms around Margaret's waist as he pull her in a longing hug.

"Hey El." Margaret giggled, kissing him on the nose.

El slant his eyes and laugh it off, placing a kiss on her lips as a redo for what she did. He didn't like to be kissed on his nose. He also didn't have a reason.

The two left the foyer as the others were downstairs talking and laughing.

El opened their bedroom door, letting Margaret enter before he could.

"You're so beautiful. That blue sweater looks great on your skin." El complimented.

Margaret giggles and looks away.

El grabbed her by the chin, turning her head to look at him.
He stared deeply into her beautiful, chestnut color eyes. It reminded him the first time he saw her. He is so crazy about her.

"You gone give me a kiss or are you going to keep staring to get eye strained?" Margaret joked as El smiles at her.

El gives her a passionate kiss that last for a second before pulling away.
His thumb caresses her cheek.

"I can't wait til you see us perform tomorrow night. It's going to be very species, dedicated to you." El told her as Margaret smirked.

"Same here, you know your voice gives me the chills." Margaret confessed.

"Oooh." El sang as him and Margaret laugh.
