El pulled the covers over Margaret's body as she was sleeping peacefully. After all that crying she did, she was wore out. She had a fallen out with her mother and even if it wasn't his fault, he felt like he should take the blame.

"Hey El, what's going on?"
Bunny asked as she entered the bedroom.

"A lot."
El answered, still keeping an eye on her.

"What happened?"
Bunny took a seat next to El.

"Margaret's mothet, Mrs. Jackson called, and she wasn't so happy about the news she received. She started to curse her out and not even let her explain. It's like she doesn't care."
El sighed as it made him think of those times where he was degraded by his father.

"Wow, no parent should treat their child like that. I wish she would just hear her out."
Bunny added.

El nodded his head and look at Bunny's outfit.
"Where you headed?"

Bunny sighed.
"I was about to ask Margaret if she wants to hang out but after hearing the story, we'll go another time. I hope she recovers from this."
She placed her hand on top of Margaret's as she grabbed it.

"Me too, I'll be by her side."

"Yes please, you're such a sweetheart like her. I know you would never leave her."
Bunny smiled at her brother.

"Ok, let me change out of these clothes and wash this makeup off my face. Goodnight."
Bunny left out of the room.

Once she was gone, El climbed in bed as he lay next to Margaret.
He wrapped his arms around her waist and placed his chin in the crook of her neck. She stirred in her sleep but continued to rest.

He stared at the wall as today's events played in his mind until he was asleep.
