Not because @flutelife2 requested it.
Not to shamelessly self advertise my other book.
And definitely not to satisfy my fanboy heart by crossing over crossovers.

The first time Michael Vey met the wizards, well...

You could say they didn't totally hit it off.

Of course, that would be being very generous.

He was so nervous about meeting Percy's other friends that he wouldn't stop ticking.

That meant that the tall redhead who was holding hands with a pretty brunette wouldn't stop asking if someone had hexed him.

"Tourette's Syndrome, obviously," the brunette, Hermione, sighed, "He can't control it. And it's getting worse because you're making him uncomfortable. Stop being so insensitive and give him some room to breathe."

When this was immediately followed by Michael accidentally zapping him during their handshake, it was no wonder that their first meeting hadn't exactly gone as planned.

"They're dressed weird," Bryan whispered, not soft enough to go unheard, however, "Anyone else getting French Revolution vibes?"

Kylee gave him a flat stare. "No, Bryan. No one. Only you."

"Do you even know what they wore during the French Revolution?" Ostin blinked at him, "Do you even know what time period you're in?"

"Ancient Japan, then?"

"You can stop talking now."

Ron glanced over at his friends, wrinkling his nose. "These kids saved the world?"

Sophia rolled her eyes at him. "You're one to talk, Mr. Got Possessed and Tried to Attack Olympus."

"He just asked if we were Japanese."

"You still can't pronounce 'telephone,'" Harry reminded him.

"Why am I being targeted here?"

The Electroclan stood across from the five wizards awkwardly, even Torstyn, who'd normally just microwave your brains out if he found himself to be too tense. Percy grimaced, then plastered a smile to his face and waved his arms around in huge gestures.

"Electrobuddies," he introduced, cringing inwardly at himself, "Pigfart kids. Pigfart kids, Electrobuddies. Play nice, be friends, just keep swimming?"

"Hey, wait," Sophia whined, "Why am I a Pigfart Kid and they're the Electrobuddies?! That's so much cooler! And I don't even go to Hogwarts."

"Favoritism," Jack smirked, getting swatted by Abigail at the same as Ostin scowled, "Am I really missing lunch for this?"

Ron immediately perked up. "There's lunch?"

"Dude," Ostin sighed, "It's so awesome. Almost as good as like, Michael's mom's crepes or Percy's mom's cookies."

And just like that all of their problems evaporated.

Ron let go of Hermione's hand in favor of slinging his arm around the other genius's shoulders, dragging him off to where he knew the Mess Hall was.

Percy crossed his arms, moving to stand between Hermione and Ginny.

"You know," he said slowly, "If you and Ron had a kid, he'd totally be like Ostin."

"I don't know him well enough to say," Hermione mused, "But I trust your judgement."

Ginny smirked. "Is that really the safest play here, 'Mione?"

"How is he like me?" The witch asked, looking up at him.
