Michael's POV

"Spill."

We all sat back down. Tessa and Taylor looked a little traumatized. They did almost die. They sat down on either side of Percy and I took Taylor's hand. Should we tell him? I asked in my head.

She looked a little confused before subtly shaking her head. Percy noticed and took in our silence.

He sighed, "Fine. You still don't trust me." He rubbed his hands together, stood up, and grinned. "Let's play a game. You guys don't even have to do anything. I see what I can put together and you just stand there and looked shocked when I get five things right. Got it?"

Ostin shrugged, "Why not." We all nodded.

"Stand up. Anywhere is fine. Make sure you're comfortable," He watched us stand in a clump, "That's perfect."

Percy looked like this was going to be the most fun thing in the world. Then he started, "Okay. Let's start with something simple. Couples. Alright. Let's see," he rubbed his chin, "Michael and Taylor. That's kind of obvious. Ostin and McKenna. Jack and Abigail. I think that's about it. What else? Alright. The sniper who attacked before. The... um, the..." He trailed off, trying to read the uniform, "The Negel-" He was cut off by Zeus snorting. He looked annoyed, "What?"

Zeus smirked, "Nothing, nothing," He parroted Percy's line from before, "Just, it's Elgen. Not Negel."

Percy held his hands up in surrender. "You can't blame the dyslexic guy."

We looked at him in shock. This kid just got stranger and stranger. Percy grinned, "A little more about myself. I'm diagnosed with ADHD, survivor's guilt, and PTSD."

I only recognized one of those. I noticed that Ostin looked the most surprised. He obviously knew what those letters stood for. Then Ostin took in our lack of comprehension. "ADHD is attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. Which means he has trouble sitting still or focusing." We all looked at Percy. Sure enough, he was shaking his leg and twirling a pen between his fingers. Ostin continued, "PTSD stands for post-traumatic stress disorder. Percy can experience nightmares, flashbacks and other ways of reliving a particularly scarring past."

I felt the ground shake as all of our jaws hit the floor. Dang. Percy would be a nice addition to the Electroclan. Besides, I'd seen him glow when he entered the shadows to knockout that sniper. He was fast, strong, and might just be one of us. But it might be more than a little cruel to put him through more bad times.

"Can we just continue?" Percy whines, "Mr. Vey, Ms. Taylor, and Mr. Ostin were the very first of this group. You all seem very close. You picked up the rest somewhere else. You guys are in a typical good/evil situation where it's you guys against a much more powerful army," Percy says in a teaching voice, "But... you make it work. Mr. Jack has survivor's guilt worse than any of you. Although, Michael and Ian come close second. Jack was probably a brother or close friend and Ian or Michael could have stopped it just in time but didn't realize until it was too late. Let's see. Michael has nightmares. Probably about failing, and he is the leader." Percy looked around at our faces and grin. "Alright, I'm done. Tell me I'm awesome."

Tessa says in a daze, "You're awesome." I inwardly laugh. I knew it would be her.

Percy points at her and grins, "I know," he bows, "Persassius Jackson does it again."

Then he gets serious, "Now are you gonna tell me your story, or what?"

I sit down beside him, defeated, "Alright. You did help us."

~I am the ultimate time skip of the universe until Michael finishes his (not as good as Percy's) story~

If I'd expected a reaction like, "That's so cool!" or "You guys are amazing!" I was sadly mistaken. He just nods, like it's nothing out of the ordinary. The broken look in his sea green eyes seems more... more... what's the word? Ostin would know the word. Oh, right, prominent. Then a small smile split his face and he exclaimed, "So, Electroclan, I can do this."

Lightning bolts spark in his hands. I knew he was one of us. Zeus looked shocked(A/N Get it? Shocked? No? Okay...) I guess he still held a little grudge for the whole name incident.

"And I can shut off any electrical device." Percy continued, unfazed by our faces.

Abigail looked at him strangely. I could understand. I was the only other one with multiple electrical powers. The she asked, "Where were you born, Percy?"

He winked at her, and she blushed a little, "New Yorker, born and raised and at your service." I felt Jack tense at my side. Probably more than a little jealous.

Ostin's eyebrows knitted together in the center of his forehead, "Does that mean the MEI was stationed in New York as well?"

Percy shrugged, "I just remember my mom saying some techy machine was stationed in my hospital. I was like, the only survivor. Then again, there were only five patients, so..." He trailed off.

That just proved my suspicions. Percy was a glow. We needed to keep him out of Hatch's hands. But I trusted him. I'd known him for maybe an hour and he was feeding us, saving our lives, and learning our secrets. More than that, I felt like I could trust him. Like he knew what we were going through. What I was going through.

Percy tried to get us all to our feets, "Are we gonna go and save Quentin, Tara, and Torstyn, or are we gonna sit here in the rainforest eating my pancakes?" He raised an eyebrow playfully. Everyone laughed half heartedly.

As much as I wanted to say yes, even if his offer was a joke, I knew that we needed to save Taylor's sister and her friends. We all got up reluctantly. I knew we were all thinking the same thing. Sometimes I wish I could stop playing hero. But I knew I had to.

He looked at us all in pity. I had that pang of trust again. This could all be an act though. He could be an Elgen spy pretending to gain our trust. Maybe we should have Taylor look into his memories. I'd talk to the group later.

Meanwhile, Percy was right. We had some Glows to save.
