Warning :

This chapter is quite a painful chapter... well... at least for me... I don't know for the readers... I just need to add a warning here... ✌

Flashback...

Thousands of years ago...

(The sounds of birds chirping)

It was a sunny day, the sun shone so brightly that day, as the God of the sun was doing his duty to keep the meeting of the deities running smoothly.

The meeting was held in one of the forests on the earth. It has two big trees as the gate, with the strings of colourful flowers hanging around the area. The Gods and the Goddess from the sky deities already came to the forest, one by one to fulfil the invitation from the God of the Earth.

Meanwhile...

In one spot of the forest, there was this someone who began to feel impatience in waiting.

Waiting for the Goddess of the Moon to come.

He walked back and forth... back and forth... he looked so nervous...

She will come, right?

There's no way that she wouldn't take this chance to meet me.

I miss her, really miss her.

He sighed...

Then he scratched his nape nervously...

"Where is she? She's supposed to come here earlier so that she can meet me before the meeting." He grumbled,  "Doesn't she miss me? I..." he trailed off his words when he suddenly felt two hands were covering his eyes from behind...

"I miss you..." She said softly from behind...

A slight smile tugging at his lips, then he turned around.

"Ah... there you are..." He pouted. "What took you so long? You're not on duty this time. It's still daytime."

She shook her head, "Aiyoo... what a whiny man. I'm sorry that I took so long to come here. I just have a lot of things to do." She widely smiled as she looked into his eyes.

A pair of eyes that she's been missing so much...

He's still pouted, "You do know that we only have once in a year time to meet, right? At this occasion. The deities meeting. Of course, I am afraid that you wouldn't come. I miss you. I miss you so much." He kept on complaining, while she held her smile, preventing herself from kissing that cute pout of him.

"Hey! Stop complaining. I am here, right? Do you want to waste our time by nagging at me?" She squinted her eyes as she crossed her arms across her chest, feigning annoyance.

He's still pouted.

She rolled her eyes, "Fine then..." She then turned around as she began to walk to the meeting place. But after a few steps, she stopped on her track while she felt him embracing her from behind.

"I miss you, Luna." He whispered to her ear as he embraced her tighter.

Letting out a deep breath, her hands moved to caress his arms, "I miss you too, Dylan." She then leaned her back to his chest, enjoying his presence, savouring his warm embrace.

"Embracing you, I always miss this." He said as he tenderly kissed her cheek from the side, earning a sweet smile from her. "Me too... It's a rare thing that the sea could embrace the moon like this." Answered her.
