Catharsis Short Story Contest 2019 [Judging & Looking for Judges]

The Catharsis Short Story Contest is different than most in the way that it is run by the brand, Catharsis. Catharsis, or @Ari_and_Jex has books and lore of its own and since a lot of potential applicants come from this account, the two main admins, Ari and Jex, have thus decided to make it available to write Xyderverse fanfiction*. However, this is not a requirement. Other works of fiction  are also acceptable, however, they must not exceed the 5 chapter maximum. Fanfiction other than Xyderverse is also allowed, however, it must be able to be read without too much knowledge of the fandom and cannot be a reader insert (OCs are allowed). Longer stories will not be judged past the first five chapters, so although you won't be penalized, you will have anything but the upperhand. There is not a prompt for the other works, as we do not want to read similar books. We would like to see what you write and how you would write it.

*The following is a list of characters available for Xyderverse fanfiction. OCs (original characters) are allowed to be implemented into the story, but reader inserts are not allowed. Follow all directions about sexuality. Mini character charts are here for your convenience. If you would like more information, feel free to DM this account. *There is no minimum participant requirement for genres. All stories submitted and added to the reading list will be judged. The genres are separated purely for judging process. There are only two groups: Xyderverse is one and all other genres are another category together (making a total of two). Xyderverse is separate to prevent bias.*
