chapter fourteen _ mysterious video

Archie's POV
Betty and I went to pops and Ronnie was there waiting for us. I sat next to her and we kissed. "Betty I thought you wanted to talk alone " Ronnie said
" I wanted but that's not something Archie shouldn't know about. You know we're all friends and actually I want to tell you something really important "
"We're listening Betty "
"Archie do you remember what you told me last night about the woman who came to Jug's house?"
" I do remember that "
"Today I saw her. She's Jughead's mom. Can you believe she's back in town?"
"What? Auntie Gladys is in Riverdale? Oh that's awesome "
"Seriously Arch? Auntie Gladys?" Ronnie asked
" ok you know, she's Jughead's mom to you but she is like my aunt and my mother's best friend; they live together in Chicago. Believe it or not she's a nice woman" I said
" I know she is and I also think she's going to stay here for good " Betty said
" I don't get it B; I mean I do but I don't think if there's a problem with that " Ronnie said
"Ronnie, have you ever seen Jug talking about his mom? Of course not. He hated her so much " Betty said
" I'm still confused "
"Look Ronnie, Jughead has changed a lot since last month and I'm scared because that's not something normal "

"Betty, I know he's changed a lot but there's something else you should know; he didn't want to see you too but now you two are together. On the other hand we all know he can do nothing. So, what are you worried about?" I said
"Is that what he really wanted? Not seeing me?"
"Betty, he didn't want to know because it all happened the day you broke up with him. He didn't want you to understand how weak he was "
"Betty, he wrote lots of things in that letter but it doesn't mean that he meant all of them " Ronnie said
" He wrote you a letter and you didn't tell me? Why?"
"Because that wasn't a love letter Betty; that was a suicide note. I had to hide it from everyone "
"You know what? I think I'd rather go before you reveal another fact for me. Bye "
Then she left . It was only me and Ronnie there." I think I messed up Ronnie " I said
"Maybe you did Arch but don't worry; we'll fix it together "
"Thanks for being by my side Ronnie "

Cyrus's POV
Jughead and I have been feeling lonely ever since his mother returned. She wants to spend more time with her daughter than her son, so does FP. They're usually out of house leaving Jughead and I alone.
I just think Jughead is getting faded in his family. It feels like they abandoned him. He was getting depressed again; he didn't want to leave his room and he wanted to be alone most of the times.
I remember one day I was inside his room and I was measuring his blood pressure. He was quiet, staring at nowhere. " you okay?" I asked
" I think I am. I have nothing to do except being ok "
"See? That's why I think you're not "
"Believe me I am. Now, would you please do me a favor? "
"Anything "
"There's a video camera in my drawer. Bring it for me please "
I went to the other side of his room and took out his camera. I turned it on and said "what do you want to do with that?"
" I wanna record a video "
"What for?"
"The time that I'm gone "
"Please don't tell me it's another suicide note "
"Oh no it's not. I just want to make sure that I'm not going to leave this world without a testament "
"You mean there's nothing to be worried about?"
"Of course not. Now press the recording button and put it in front of me. After that you can go "
"Fine "
I put the camera on the desk right in front of him and left his room. I sat on the stairs for about 45 minutes till he called me. I came back to his room and turned the camera off, then I sat on a chair and said "Am I going to keep it or Betty's going to do that?"
"No ,the responsibility is yours. Please give it to my parents after my funeral "
"Dude, don't talk about that " I said while I was crying
"Don't cry Cy. Death is the rule of nature. We all have to face it someday and of course we will. You come to this world one day, you leave it one day, you fall in love one day and you think about death one day. I know it sucks but that's why I love this world "
"I beg you Jug. Please don't leave us "
"I think we should start packing instead of staying here talking about sad things."
"Yeah, I think you're right "
I went to bring his suitcases but before I leave he called me "Hey Cy! "
"What?"
"I'm not going anywhere " he said smiling
