David entered the house after realizing Lorie had left his car. He was so busy laughing that he didn't even go after her. He isn't like that since he is such a good friend. He just couldn't believe what she said was pure nonsense.

"Hi, Miss Allison."
David greeted as he entered the kitchen where his second mother was cooking.

"Hey David baby! How are you?"
Allison stepped away from the stove to give him a hug.

"I'm alright, but happy to see you."
David replied, smiling from ear to ear.

"Aw, I'm the same way. You came with Lorie?"
She asked, going back to the stove.

"Mhm, she left out of my car and I knew she came in here."
David told her.

"What's the matter with her? I called her name a few times."
Allison frowned.

"She got upset cause I wouldn't understand the new her. So, being the goofy I am, I laughed."

"Oh, boy! You know how she is."

"Yeah, I'm going to go check on her."
David exited out of the kitchen and walk down the corridor to Lorie's room.

He knocked on her door and lean back against the wall as he waited for an answer.

The sound of the knob moving caught his attention then the door opened.

David scrunched up his face in confusion as he slowly walk towards her door. He peeped his head in, finding Lorie laying in her bed and watching TV.

He didn't know if he should enter cause the way she was looking.
She is on the verge of attacking him. But then again, he did wanted to check on her since he had to apologize.

"Lorie."
David called her name as he took a seat at the edge of her bed.

Lorie didn't bulge as her eyes were glued to the television.
A sigh escaped from his mouth.

"I'm sorry fwiend, can you ever forgive me?"
David poked his lip as he gave her puppy dog eyes.

Lorie glance at him then the TV as she snickered.

"See! Your ass playing!"
David pointed as he stood up and laughed.

Lorie turned off her TV then turned on her lamp.

"No I wasn't, just you doing that face and tone made me laugh."
Lorie corrected.

"Whatever, do you forgive me or no?"
He wondered.

Lorie shrugged as she looked elsewhere.

"Come on, girl. You can't stay mad at me forever."
David pleaded.

"I don't know. If I did, you would still be judging me for my new look."
Lorie said as David sighed.

"Girl, I keep telling you look like a fool. Why won't you understand?"

"Cause you're not in my shoes?"
She mocked, rolling her eyes afterwards.

"I know one thing, you better unrolled them eyes before they get stuck in that big noggin of yours."
David warned.

Lorie smacked her lips and sized him up.
"My big noggin? What about that -"

She ruffled his hair as it showed a bit of his forehead.
"Big forehead?!"
Lorie chuckled.

David gasped as he tried to fix his mouth to say something.
He pulled out his comb from his pants pocket, beginning to brush his hair until it was normal.

Lorie looked at him and giggled.
He is so extra especially when it comes to his hair.

"Ain't nothing big about my forehead, what is really big is underneath my jeans."
David wiggled his brows as Lorie gasped.

"Um, T.M.I., only your little girlfriends show know that!"
Lorie shuddered as she tried to remove the explicit image out of her mind.

David laughed as he poked her cheek.

"Stop it!"
She swatted his hand as he continued.

Lorie pinched the bridge of her nose.
She took a deep calming breath and ended up laughing.
"I'm not about to play with you, Quik."
She called him by his DJ name.

"That's the Lorie I know, not the one who's trying to be like someone else. I'm not trippin or anything, I really love you for who you are. You're so bubbly. Playful. Sweet."
He smiled.

Lorie looked away as she shoo him off.
"Don't you start with them words."
She laughed.

"You're smart, silly, loveable."
He continued.

Lorie blushed harder and cover her face as tears filled her eyes.
"I love the way you dress, I love the way you do your hair, I love that you watch cartoons, and I love that you listened to David Bowie. He's my favorite too."

Lorie removed her hands from her face as it was drenched with her tears.
She felt so uplifted by his words. She is really thankful to have him as a friend.

David used his hands to dry her face.
"It's ok, pal. I just had to let you know that those things I've mentioned? I love. You are a special person, Lorie. Unique. Don't let nobody change you."

He hugged her as she continued to sob.
