Jungkook stayed on his words and woke me up as soon as Namjoon opened his eyes.

"Eun-Ji, he's awake." He shook me softly and I instantly opened my eyes and jumped up.

It was early in the morning, 6 AM, to be exact. I yawned and stretched my arms and legs out, without failing to notice Jungkook's gaze on me.

"Let's go." I jumped off the bed, the action itself earned a light chuckle from him.

"You are quite energetic, compared to what happened with you the previous two nights." He stated.

"That's the way I am. Accept it or run away, they're two options, I guess."

"You didn't change at all. Unbelievable."

"You did change though, Jeon."

An unreadable expression came across his pale face but he nodded.

"I can't argue with that. Let's see my friend now."

When we came into his room, the young man was talking with Hoseok.

As they heard the door opening, they stopped their conversation and the new comers became the centre of their attention. Both men smiled at me warmly and Hoseok stood up and gestured me to sit on his chair.

"Come on, Eun-Ji. Namjoon wants to get to know you." He laughed, getting up from his seat.

I nodded and went to take his place. Namjoon seemed slightly better. His face got some colour, but he wasn't in the best condition. He got shot, of course he was in a horrible state.

"Eun-Ji Lim, right? I would like to say thank you for helping me. I can't put in words how grateful I am." Namjoon said.

Judging by his words I was sure he was a quite nice and intelligent guy.

How did he end up being a member of a crime organisation?

But I could have asked the same question to everyone here. These guys were too nice to me.

"Don't need to thank me for that. You are Jungkook's friend, of course I would help." I smiled at him.

He raised one of his eyebrows, he surely looked at either Jungkook or Hoseok behind my back.

Their facial expression could give an answer to his unsaid question and his eyes found mine again.

"Well, I really want to thank you, somehow. Do you like flowers or chocolates or... I don't know what women like these days."

"Come on, really? You don't have to. Just next time try to avoid those bullets." I laughed and he joined me with his deep voice.

"Well... Namjoon, you should rest, I am taking her home." Jungkook interrepted our laughing session.

Again, he kept something in himself, he looked strange.

"I hope we'll meet next time, but now when I have a bullet in my body." Namjoon winked at me.

"I'm sure it's not our last meeting. Take care, Namjoon."

"You too."
