"Jungkook!" Jimin tapped my shoulder. People said that I spaced out too often nowadays.

"What is it?" I asked while signing a contract that I needed to bring to our new clients.

"You know that there will be a meeting next week right? Every leader with their spouses; a grand ball."

"Yes but I couldn't care less. I won't have a plus one." I scoffed and I was sure Jimin was dumbfounded.

"You manwhore... Why don't you ask Eun-Ji?"

"You know I..."

"You're being an idiot. Wow hello I am Jeon Jungkook, international playboy, I have a childhood best friend whom I really love to stalk on social media and by my men for years but I won't admit I am fond of her." He mocked me, but I tried not to get angry.

"Shut up. Is there anything else or you're just here to preach?"

His body got tensed and I felt sweat dripping on my forehead. Jimin was a calm guy; he would never be anxious or scared without any reason.

"Jungkook. You got a message."

"Give it to me."

"It's not that easy."

"Why?"

Jimin showed me a picture; I immediately recognised the person in the picture. It was Eun-Ji.

I now knew why he mentioned her. He motioned me to turn it around.

Your girlfriend is so adorable, cute and innocent. She has everything what a man dreams of- a small slim body, beautiful big eyes, long hair, kissable lips... it would be so tragic if something happened to her, right?
