"Eun-Ji. You know you are important to me. I am glad we meet after years, and I don't want to lose you. You and Hoseok are the only ones who know the real me, the ordinary boy Jungkook. Believe it or not, it means a lot. I don't have to act tough with you."

Eun-Ji's cheeks were tinted in a deep shade of red and her heart was beating really fast, again.

"Good to hear it." Eun-Ji cleared her throat.

She felt herself falling into Jungkook's web. She wanted to avoid it at all cost.

Clearly, Jungkook was fucking around, he didn't need anyone of the opposite gender to hold him back.

The two of them were sitting quietly on a bench near the warehouse.

Jungkook was staring quietly the sky which was full of stars. Luckily, the perfect view wasn't blocked by the clouds.

He wanted to speak up and tell her all the things he felt, but it would have been too fast and he was confused.

He didn't know what was Eun-Ji to him exactly.

Right, she was important to him, but to be more exact, he couldn't answer it.

Only a best friend or... possibly a lover?

Since she had saved Namjoon's life, Namjoon was talking about how cute she was all the time; causing Jungkook's blood to boil.

Sometimes he growled at Namjoon, who couldn't understand Jungkook's odd behaviour.

"Look, a shooting star!" Eun-Ji broke the silence, and pointed to the falling shiny ball.

"Let's wish for something." Jungkook smiled at her softly.

She nodded, and to her surprise he grabbed her hand, holding it in between his big ones.

"Let's do it." Eun-Ji said, like that small action didn't affect her at all.

Jungkook nodded and both of them close their eyes.

'I wish he is always safe and sound.'

'I wish I can protect her my whole life.'
