We tried to calm each other down, we were holding hands but it didn't help much. 

Our thoughts were focused on the fact that his rivals wanted me dead. 

Why? 

It hadn't been long since we had started talking again, after several years. 

I never once forgot about him, and I was now sure he didn't either. 

But how were those people well-informed? They surely spied a lot on him.

I saw the familiar penthouse, and a man opened the gate for the vehicle. Jungkook's men opened up the door for us, I timidly walked next to him, Jungkook just gave me a warm smile and pulled me closer to him. 

I would lie if I said I didn't feel that somehow familiar, however, it wasn't the time to think about that. 

The man who welcomed us politely bowed and greeted Jungkook. Just like his men, that servant also gave me a look. Surely, they didn't see the same girl twice.

"Master Jungkook!" A pretty maid ran to him, just like a little puppy to its owner, jumping in happiness. The girl didn't or rather didn't want to notice my presence but I wasn't pissed off.

"Hello, Seol." It was crystal clear he wasn't too fond of the girl who was his number one fangirl, he greeted her, not bothering to hide his annoyance.

"What's bothering you Master?" She really had no shame to ignore me, I felt awkward. 

I wouldn't say she wasn't attractive because she was. I didn't understand why Jungkook was uninterested in her, men would like her a lot, she was slim, she had nice long hair, and a nice face. 

Luckily a deeper voice echoed, making her stop.

"Hey are you alright, Eun-Ji?" Hoseok walked down the stairs, he really seemed worried about me and came to hug me. 

Seol didn't like me being so close to her masters but she silently went away somewhere else.

"I'm fine but I need to call up my roomate now."

"I took care of that." Jungkook whispered in my ear. "I will talk with your landlady, too."

"I...thank you, Jungkook." I said feeling strange by his closeness. "I don't know how can I..."

"You don't need to pay back anything. You are important. I just want you to be safe here."

"We even prepared a room for you, and got girly things..." Hoseok butted in.

"Thank you for you too, Hoseok. I hope I'm not causing any trouble..."

"Don't say stupid things. You are more than welcomed here." He smiled at me softly.
