You have been on the streets for a couple of weeks now, when a small, plain-haired boy walks up to you. He stops and asks in a soft voice, "Hey! Are you lost..?"

You answer, "No, I'm not lost. I live out here." You turn slightly red at the thought of someone knowing where you live.

"I don't think you should be out here, the nights get real cold," he mumbles.

"I-I don't really have anywhere else to go..." You turn a darker shade of red, embarrassed.

The boy looks shocked. He asked, confused, "What about your parents? You should be living with them."

"I-I don't really have parents... I'm sorry..." You looked away, your face burning.

"No, don't apologize. It's not your fault!"

"It was though... I'm the reason they didn't want me anymore..." Tears well up in your eyes, threatening to burst out in sobs.

"That's not true! They love you and care about you, just like all parents!"

"They don't love me anymore, because of my quirks. I-I'm sorry, I never even got your name, did I?"

"It's okay, my name's Izuku Midoriya. You know, your quirk is what makes you, you! They should love you no matter what it is..."

"I... I don't..." You break out into sobs, knowing the truth of the matter.

"Don't cry!" He wraps his arms around you, pulling you into a tight embrace.

"I... They kicked me out because I have two quirks," you explain, starting to calm down.

"Wha-? Oh! That's so cool!" he exclaims, finally noticing your grey wolf ears and tail.

"O-oh, thank you, but my dad said it made me a monster." You soon feel on the brink of tears again.

He declares, "You're not a monster! What you are is awesome! I've never seen someone with two quirks before!"

"Oh, yeah, heh. By the way, what's your quirk?"

"I don't have mine yet... But I hope it's something cool like yours!"

"You don't even know what my quirk is, how could you say it's cool?" You smile, softly, but it is a smile.

"Isn't it the ears and tail?" he asks, obviously curious.

"Well, that's only one of them, this is my other quirk." You let your wings out from your back and spread them out so Midoriya can see them.

His eyes widen and his jaw drops in awe. "Oh, wow! That's awesome!"

You lift off the ground slightly and pick the boy up. He looks in surprise at you as you lift him into the air. He squeals slightly, his eyes widening further. He clings to you tightly, not wanting to be dropped. "I- You're amazing! This is amazing! Who taught you to fly?"

"My mother, she also gave me the bells I wear on my ears!"

"See, she cares about you! She must love you since she taught you to fly and gave you a gift," he assured.

"Well, maybe she does, but my dad doesn't. He thought my quirks made me terrible." You slowly come back down to the ground and let go of the boy.

"That's not true, though. Your quirks make you unique and special. Y'know, your dad sounds like a real jerk."

"Heh, he kind of was, but it got worse once I got my quirks. He kicked me out of the house, and I've been here for a few weeks. Where are your parents?" you ask, quizzically tilting your head slightly.

"Oh, um, my mom's in the grocery store right now. She should be expecting me, soon."

"You should go then. If you ever want to talk again, I'll be here." You watch as your new friend walks away, off to find his mother.

Izuku dashes off into the store, but not before turning around and waving goodbye. Once he finds his mom, he exclaims, "Mom! I made a new friend. She's outside, and she's very nice. But, she said that her mom and dad don't love her anymore because of her two quirks. She can even fly! She looks like a wolf, too, with a tail and ears. It's so cool! You've gotta come to meet her."

"Izuku, calm down! I can't understand you when you speak so fast! Now, tell me what happened, but calmly."

"Well, um, I was out back and I saw a girl. We started talking and she showed me her super cool wings, they're black and blue! She also has really awesome wolf ears and a tail! But, she said her parents don't love her anymore because her dad's a real jerk and made her live in the alley. She said that her mom cares about her but not her dad."

"Wait, her parents abandoned her?! Take me to her! We have to help her!" Izuku and his mother rush out of the store and the small boy leads his mother to you.

"See! There she is!" He pointed to you, as you were sitting against the wall of the grocery store.

"Oh, hello, are you Izuku's mother? It is nice to meet you, my name is Allie," you say calmly as you stand, extending a hand to shake hers.

"Is it true that your parents have abandoned you?"

"Um, y-yes, ma'am... My dad kicked me out when he learned that I have two quirks," you mumble.

"Well, you're gonna have to have a home, and I think the best thing is to have you stay with us for now," she says, grinning at you.

Izuku shrieks, "YES! Now, you're like my sister, Allie!"

"T-thank you very much, Mrs. Midoriya!" She smiles sweetly at you.

"There's no need to thank me. I'm only doing what's right. Nobody should be deserted because of something they cannot control."

Izuku takes your hand and practically drags you to his house. But, it feels nice, being a part of a family again. He leads you to his bedroom, saying this will be where you're staying.

"So, how d'you like it?" he asks, a large smile plastered on his face.

"Heh, I love it... Bro." You smile, tears threatening to spill.

He frowns slightly. "What's the matter..? Why are you crying..?"

"I'm not crying because I'm sad, I'm crying because I'm happy! I love it so much, I love being a part of a family again!" He rushes over to you and pulls you into a tight embrace that you soon return.

"Thank you, bro."
