Many years have passed since you had been adopted into the Midoriya family, and you and Izuku are now ten. He has arranged with his mom to meet with one of his friends, Bakugou Katsuki, at a nearby park.

"Come on, it'll be fun! Socializing is fun!" he exclaims.

"I don't know... Isn't this the same kid you said was mean to you sometimes?"

"Well, kind of, but I know he's just joking! He'd never intentionally be mean."

"I don't know if I trust him, Izuku. Doesn't he also call you Deku? That seems pretty mean to me." He hesitates slightly before continuing.

"It's okay! He's really, very nice, once you get to know him. Let's just go meet him, then you'll see!"

"OK, fine, I'll go... But only because you're going!" Izuku smiles brightly at you, almost dragging you to the park behind him. The blond haired boy was sitting on a bench, bored out of his mind and staring off into space.

Izuku's face brightens when he sees Bakugou, and he calls, "Kacchan! I've got someone for you to meet!"

"Oi! Who is this, Deku? Looks pretty stupid," he mutters the last part under his breath. Izuku looks shocked for a moment, but regains his composure, a smile never leaving his face.

"Bakugou, meet my sister, Allie! Allie, this is Bakugou."

"I didn't know you had a sister! She looks nothing like you!"

"Wow, you're pretty straight-forward, aren't you?" You smirk as Bakugou looks almost surprised at you.

Izuku exclaimed, "Look at you two, getting along already! I can see you're going to be great friends!"

"Well, Bakugou, to answer your question, I was adopted by Izuku's family," you explain. He scowls slightly before going back to being blank-faced.

"So, you're not his real sister? You're just a fake?"

"I wouldn't call it fake, just we don't have the same parents. He still consider each other family though." He stares at you as if he doesn't understand the concept of adoption. Glancing between the two of you, Izuku clears his throat slightly.

"New subject? U-um, how about the weather we've been having?" he timidly asks.

"Pfft, you're a bit of a dork sometimes, bro." You laugh softly at his attempt of changing a subject.

"It's not funny!" he cries, "You guys were just having too much of a serious conversation, I simply had to do something."

You laugh a little more before patting him on the back. "Don't worry, I'm just messin' with ya, bro." Katsuki scoffs lightly, folding his arms across his chest.

"Oh, sorry, Bakugou! I guess Allie and I should be off since I introduced her to you already."

"Wait! I have something to ask Allie!"

You turn around sharply, having no idea what he could ask

"What's your quirk?" he asks with a questioning look on his face. You freeze up, not liking to talk about your quirks. You look to Izuku as if to say, "Help me, bro."

His eyes widen slightly, but he responds, in a slightly quieter voice than before, "Allie's quirks are her wolf ears and tail, also her wings." A look of confusion plasters itself onto Bakugou's face.

"Ha! You must have gotten two quirks to make up for Deku having none," he remarks.

Izuku looks down and you say, "What's your problem? Why do you have to be so mean to people? He just wants to be your friend!" Bakugou looks at you in silence. A frown starts to form, but he hides it well.

"Allie, let's go... Just leave it be," Izuku mutters, his voice beginning to break.

You take him by the shoulders. "You don't have to sit there and take it. You can stand up for yourself!" He thought back on all the times Katsuki had bullied him into submission, calling him Deku and making him feel like he wasn't worthy because he was quirkless.

"No, I'm not going to take it!" he thought to himself.

"You're right, Allie... Kacchan! I don't appreciate you hurting me or my sister. All I wanted was to be your friend, but you're such a jerk. It's not even worth it anymore."

"Oh, so, that's how it's going to be? Well, friends, let me give you advice." He sets a smoking hand on each of your shoulders.

"Don't. Mess. With. Me." He quickly pulls his hands off and punches you in the stomach, making you double over before he shoves you to the ground. Izuku's eyes widen tremendously and he gasps loudly, before quickly kneeling next to you, scanning for injuries. He pulls you into an extremely tight embrace that you weakly return, then looks up to see Bakugou, smiling smugly.

"You monster! She did nothing to you, and you still hit her. She didn't deserve this! Believe me, I won't forget this!" Bakugou scoffs, dusting his hands off on his pant leg before turning and swiftly walking away. You cough, sending a small amount of blood into your hand.

"Allie! Are you OK?" he questions, obviously worried for you.

"I-I'm fine, you did well standing up for yourself." You give him a weak smile.

The boy helps you stand up and you walk home, him helping you while you hold your stomach. Once at the apartment, Izuku seemed more concerned than ever.

He turned to face you, asking, "Are you sure you're going to be okay? You really do look sick!"

"Yeah, I'll be fine. I'm more worried about mom when she sees I've been hurt. You know how she gets, you're kind of the same way actually."

"I'll tell her! She can tell Bakugou's mom and get him in serious trouble for hurting you." He smiled slightly at the thought of Katsuki being punished.

"Yeah, but then she'll fuss over me for the next week, and it's not that big of a deal. I don't want either of you worrying over me when you don't have to."

"But, you're hurt! We do have to fuss over you! You coughed up blood, and that's always a bad sign."

"When does mom get home anyway? She's been gone since we left," you wonder, almost thinking aloud.

He glanced over at the wall where the clock hung, the hour hand getting ready to strike four. "Mom said she'd be home by four, so I'm assuming fairly soon."

"OK, we really don't have that long to wait." As you finish your sentence, your mother walks through the front door. She glances between you and Izuku, her eyebrows knit together in confusion.

"Mom," Izuku drawled out. "Kacchan hit Allie in the gut!"

"What? Oh, Allie, come here... Is that blood, did you fight back? Oh, Allie..."

"Mom, that's my blood, I coughed it up."

"Oh, no! You need to lie down, I'll get you some water. Izuku, go get Allie some blankets! She must be cold with the air conditioning on."

"Mom, I'm fine, I swear, it's not that big a deal." But your mother doesn't seem to hear you.

"I'm going to have to call Mitsuki and explain this. Oh, dear, oh, dear," she murmurs under her breath.

Both your mother and Izuku run about, fussing over you. But that's why you love this family.

Your family.
