Bakugou had only seemed to get crueler as time went on. When you and Izuku first got to junior high, the taunting only got worse. "You don't deserve to be here, in a class with future heroes. You're a mistake, the worst of the worst! A quirkless person is worse than no person at all," Bakugou sneers. Izuku's head drops and tears well in his eyes.

"Hey, come on. Leave him alone! He didn't do anything to you!" You can usually deter him after a few attempts. This time, he left unusually quickly, though.

"Is he finally getting tired of picking on us?" you ask, looking at Izuku.

He chuckles weakly. "Nope. He probably never will be."

You sigh deeply, "Yeah, he probably won't, but there is still a chance!" You smile at him, and the light comes back to his eyes.

"I guess... It's a very slim possibility, but that's better than nothing, right?"

"That's the spirit! Don't let him get to you, he's just a bully, nothing more, OK?"

"OK." He pulls you into a tight embrace, then murmurs, "Thank you for always being there for me, sis."

You, at first, are a little shocked, you were not expecting him to hug you, but you soon return the embrace.

"That's what I'm here for, isn't it?"

Snickering slightly, he smiles. "Nah, eating and sleeping are your main purposes, along with learning."

"You know I need protein for my quirk, don't you go judging me, sir mumbles-a-lot," you say, causing you to both start laughing.

Once he was able to, he replied, "I don't mumble! I mutter, thank you very much."

"OK, that's the same thing, and you know it!" Both of you laugh harder, walking out of the building.

Izuku turns around to face you, walking backward while periodically looking behind him to make sure he isn't going to run into anything. "What do you think All Might's doing right now? Do you think he's saving the world once again or just chilling at home like a normal person?" he asks, a playful gleam in his eye.

"You think about All Might too much, but who knows, maybe one day, you'll get the chance to meet him."

"That's not true. He's too amazing. Why would a great hero like him waste his time a boring, quirkless boy like me?"

"Hey, don't underestimate yourself. Now tell me, what has been your dream since you were a kid?"

"To become a hero. A good one, like All Might," he states.

"Now, never let go of that dream, no matter what anyone says, OK? I don't care what Bakugou or his friends say you can do it, alright?" You give him a confident smile.

"I try not to let his words bother me, only yours matter now, anyway. You're an amazing sister, y'know? Like, the best in the world."

"You're such a dork, but you're my brother, so I care about you. Never forget that I'll always be here for you, OK?"

"You've always been there for me, how could I forget? You're just too awesome to ignore," he sniggers.

"You're like a five-year-old sometimes, you know that? Come on, let's get home, mom's making yakitori tonight!"

He pouted for a moment before grinning madly, licking his lips as a dog would. "Great! Race you home!" he shrieks before bolting down the road.

You pull out your wings and begin flying, you know that you're faster flying than he is running, he knows it, too.

"Hey, come on. That's cheating!" he says as you glide past him.

"It's not cheating if you don't know the rules," you exclaim, continuing to fly. He frowns again but keeps a steady pace while running.

"And you say I'm the dork, but I guess I never did specify you couldn't."

You end up flying into a pole while flying and he wins anyway, cheaters never prosper.

Once in the apartment, Izuku flopped down on the ground, gasping for air. He cried, "My lungs burn! I am never doing that again! My legs, they are going to be so sore in the morning." You just laughed at him, quite loudly.

"Hey, you didn't run into a pole, bro, that hurt!"

"Yeah, well, you were cheating anyway! You deserved it!" You both just flop down and laugh until mom comes in.

She smiles at the two of you, shaking her head in a playful manner. "Come on, you two, it's dinnertime. I made yakitori!"

"OK, mom! We're coming!" You both get up and walk to the kitchen. The smell of freshly grilled chicken wafts around the room, practically causing you to drool.

"I call first dibs!" Izuku yells, grabbing a skewer straight off the plate it was laying on.

You sigh, he's such a dork all the time, you bet he knows it too. He begins gnawing on it, not even waiting to be seated. Mom glances at him, shrugs, then looks back at you. You take one of the larger skewers and sit down, waiting for your mother to get food before you start eating. Once finishes, Izuku grabs another before sitting down next to mom. He grins at you wildly before beginning to pick at his food.

"You need to slow down or you'll get sick, and that won't be good for either of us." He fake gags, almost choking on his food in the process.

"Oh, be quiet. You know you want to eat all the chicken, you just don't want to seem greedy!" he exclaims.

You glare at him, and he backs down a bit. "Me!? You're the one eating like it's the end of the world!"

He scowls a tiny bit. "Sorry if I'm hungry after a long day of school and dealing with Kacchan!"

"I dealt with him too! And we have the same class! You don't get to complain!" You continue to fight until your mother begins speaking.

"Kids, stop fighting. Let's just sit and enjoy our dinner, OK?"

He glares at you from across the table and crosses his arms but doesn't say anything. You huff and continue eating, glancing over at Izuku ever so often. You two fight quite a bit, but you make up quickly.

Once you finish, you head up to your room to do your homework and he does the same. You love him, but he can be annoying.

After all, he is your brother.
