The start of the class had been boring, just sitting and listening to Mr. Aizawa drone on about health protocols before he says for the class gather around. Standing next to Izuku, you can see a boy named Hanta Sero raise his hand.
"Sir! What kind of training is this?"
"Rescue. You'll be dealing with natural disasters, shipwrecks, fires, stuff like that." The class is silent for a moment before beginning to whisper, quite loudly.
You stay quiet, not really having any friends in the class besides your brother, who's with his friends, and Todoroki, but you don't want him thinking you're clingy.
"Finally, this is what separates the men from the boys!" Kirishima comments.
"Guys, I'm not done, yet," Mr. Aizawa says, staring in front of them and speaking in a dull, even voice. "You can wear whatever outfit you want, hero costume or gym uniform, I don't care. We have to take a bus to get there, so be ready in five minutes."
You walk out of the room, following Izuku and Uraraka. Once outside, you see Uraraka asking Deku about his costume. Deciding not to interrupt their conversation, you listen to what Iida has to say as he blows a whistle.
"Everyone, line up according to your seat number! We must enter the bus orderly as to not cause any delay!"
Everyone lines up how Iida asked, but when the bus arrives he sees that the layout is different than he thought. You end up next to Todoroki, seemingly without his knowledge since he's staring out the window like his life depends on it.He asks, "Who am I sitting next to?"
Yep, definitely without him knowing, you think to yourself."It's Allie," you say softly, despite trying to speak up.
"Oh, good, I was hoping to sit next to you. There are some people I wouldn't be able to stand."
He looks over at Bakugou as he says this. You smirk slightly and snicker silently, making him flash a bit of a smile."What do you think we're gonna be doing in terms of natural disasters? Like earthquakes, tornadoes, hurricanes? 'Stuff like that' is such a broad term, and there are so many tiny terms that classify as natural disasters."
"Well, he mentioned a couple, fires, shipwrecks, I would guess something like a landslide would also be involved, though."
His face is straight as he says this. You smile brightly at the thought of using your wolf to its full extent."Yes!" you exclaim, "This is gonna be so awesome, I just know it! I hope this isn't going to be dangerous, though."
"Yeah, I hope so."
You arrive at the building and walk inside with the rest of your class. Thirteen, a rescue hero, appears in front of you and begins speaking.
"This is the USJ, short for 'Unforeseen Simulation Joint'!" The class, especially Izuku, is in awe of just seeing Thirteen. Just the look of the USJ is daunting, and you're ecstatic at the thought of going inside and exploring it.Once you step inside, you look around and gaze at the five regions. The fire one really catches your eye, and you even find yourself staring at it until Thirteen begins talking.
"Here, I have only one point before I let you go, maybe two... three, possibly four. OK, a lot of points." Thirteen pauses for dramatic effect."I'm sure you're aware of my power. It's called Black Hole. I can create it and use it to suck up anything, then turn it to dust. My quirk can be used to help people, but it can also be very easily manipulated to kill. Many of you also have quirks that could possibly be dangerous. Please, even with all regulations and safety 'features,' remember that quirks are sometimes very harmful. Today, you're going to be learning how to use your quirks to save people's lives. You won't be using your powers to defend yourselves, only to help. That's what being a hero is all about, after all. Ensuring the safety of others. Thank you so much for listening!" Suddenly, a mist-like portal opens up in the plaza below, and villains pour out of it.
