Chapter Seventeen: Sports Festival PT:3

You look around and see everyone running straight toward Izuku's group. Jirou wants to do the same and almost follows them, but Koda has another plan.

"There's a group with a lot of points," he says, pointing to a group comprised of 1-B students. You recognise one of them as Tetsutetsu.

"Yeah, if we get to them while they're distracted, they won't know we came." You direct your team to the Class 1-B team and are able to get one of their headbands before they notice you. You look around and realize another team is running to you. One of their members reaches out and is close to grabbing your headband when you lift both Jirou and Koda off the ground, out of that team's reach.

"That was close. I need to be more vigilant so we're less stressed and more focused on snatching headbands." You apologize to your team.

You continue to direct your team before coming face to face with Todoroki. You notice both Iida and Kaminari on his team and don't bother thinking before picking up Koda and Jirou. You stay in the air until Iida gives up and tries to steal another teams headbands.

"Don't overwork yourself, Allie," you hear Jirou call from below you.

"I won't, don't worry. Watch out! To your left!" One of her earphone jacks extended and stabbed the rider in the neck, hard enough to make her off-balance and cause her to fall off the three people struggling to carry her. While the people who had been carrying her were distracted, Jirou grabbed two of their headbands before telling Koda where to go.

"Thanks!" you tell her as she tosses the headbands to you.

"No problem!" she calls back to you. You head toward one of the teams from Class 1-B with a smaller amount of points, but you run into Bakugou's team on the way. Bakugou sneers at you, and Kirishima has an almost identical look on his face.

Bakugou aimed an explosion at Koda, but you lifted them off the ground just in time. Though, he didn't give up as easily as Iida did. He continued to fire explosions at you until your wings felt so tired, you were sure you were about to fall out of the sky.

You glide a fair bit away and just yell, "Run! If he can't catch us, he can't steal our points!" Jirou and Koda nod and start running as fast as they can. Eventually, Bakugou tires of you and runs to catch another team, leaving you alone. Your team is able to grab a few more headbands from other teams, but you have a couple taken as well. At the last second, Jirou grabs a headband with her earphone jack and brings it back to your team, just in time.

The cavalry battles end, and you sit down on the ground, gazing up at the sky. You had done so well, then Bakugou had to go and waste so much of your time. Present Mic began talking, saying the scores of everyone and what places they got. Your team managed to place fifth, losing to Izuku, but only by sixty points.

"These four teams will advance to the next round," Present Mic exclaims. Though, he looks hesitant for a moment.

"Wait a second... What's this? It seems we have two empty spots to fill! Team Allie Midoriya, two of your members will be able to advance to the next round!"

You look at your teammates, realizing you have to leave one behind. Koda volunteers to stay behind and not move on to the final rounds. You hug him and say, "Thank you, Koda."

He blushes a deep red and stammers out, "Y-you're welcome."

"Now, let's take an hour-long lunch break before we start the afternoon festivities!" You could hear Tetsutetsu complaining loudly as you follow the crowd of students, looking everywhere for your brother. You find him and almost tackle him with your hug. "Good job, bro! You beat me! The next thing is for me to beat you in the fights!
