"Ming." She could barely register the voice. Too distracted by the uncomfortable beating of her heart. And the dryness of her throat that bobbed the minute she looked up at the girl who playfully nudged her shoulder. Having noticed just how out of body she seemed to be.
"What's wrong?" Miso met her eyes. Her eyes that most would fall completely dazed under as Ming shook her head with a soft nothing. Not wanting for anyone else to give her more anxiety than she already felt. Because Ming knew someone was going to be watching her. They always would.
"Let's go." It was his voice that had her body going numb. And it was his voice that had her blood boiling as she got to her feet. Walking past the girl who still didn't know as to why Ming looked so uneasy.
"Ming." She could feel herself being pulled back. Having been split apart from the other girls that were already making way onto the stage as immediate panic rose within her being. Because she didn't know if he saw. Didn't know if he found out.
"What?" She couldn't let her boss hear the trembling of her voice. Even if it was still shaky. She was afraid.
But the man didn't say a word. Didn't do anything more than run his gaze down her body in the most disturbing manner before letting her go with a laugh. The gesture alone enough to make her feel so dirty about herself. And so disgusted with the man who she knew she needed. Because Ming was destitute. Having been put in a position of vulnerability. And all because of money.
But there was no time to dwell on it. To feel sorry for herself. To let the man who was nothing to those around her, interfere with what she needed to do tonight as the girl put on a smile. Knowing the gesture alone would be enough to catch ones attention. And enough to make those feel special as her heels clicked against the floor beneath her. Having been met with the same stage the other girls were lingering on. The same girls who had no clue as to what Ming was doing.
"Kitten?" The voice was so sultry. Resonating through the girl's ears that cancelled out every other sound that ran through the club as her eyes met ones own. His own that couldn't help but gently narrow as they glanced down her body. Looking all too tempting to ones needs.
And he watched as she slowly ran her fingers down the silver pole they were lingering on. All while tilting her head in complete innocence. And all with a grin clad on her lips. Because Ming was good at that. Was good at masking the utter terror rushing through her veins.
"Yes?" He knew she was the right girl. Knew it the minute she giggled underneath her breath with a quiet do I know you before letting her body meet with the coldness of the metal lying against her fingertips. Even if Yoongi specifically told her not to speak unless she truly needed to. But Ming never listened. She was such a tease.
And with a smirk, the man moved closer. Wanting to make it seem as though he was just a normal customer as he pulled out a few bills from the pocket of his slacks. It being just enough to make Ming's heart race. And just enough to make one completely desperate to receive such an amount of cash.
"How much for a private dance. . . huh?"
"Depends on how long you want me for." Ming could feel the way he ran the cash along the skin of her legs. All until letting it fall onto the floor in which she bent over to grab it. Knowing his eyes were watching her every move. Just like they always would.
