Virgil knew what was possibly going to happen, but he would do everything in his willpower to stop it from happening. He had to be there for his friends. He couldn't leave them... Not after all they've been through together as a family.
He had many great memories with all three Sides, including Thomas. He missed those days...
Going to the dog park with Patton, eating cookies the whole time, or helping Logan with some nerdy project, or even going with Roman to his Imagination Kingdom. He loved every second of spending his time with them.
But with the Dark Sides, it was the complete opposite.
Those were endless days of being beat up by people who were stronger and tougher than you, and you knew if you said the wrong thing to the wrong person, you'd be in serious trouble. He was glad he left the place, but couldn't bear thinking about going back...
The voice of Deceit caught him out of his thoughts. "Come now, we don't have all night."
"I already told you once, I'll say it again... I. AM. NOT. GOING. BACK," Virgil said loud and clearly, growling with every word.
"Grab him," the snake ordered. Andre and Adrian, who were the strongest, grabbed Virgil's arms and pulled him back. Fighting with all his strength, Virgil pulled away, to no avail. They had a grip like steel.
"You know where to take him. We'll deal with these guys," Zane said, watching the two muscular Sides drag Virgil away, fighting as much as he could. The other Dark Sides had to hold the Light Sides down so they wouldn't go after them.
"VIRGIL!!!" The three Sides yelled. Patton already had tears escape his eyes as he struggled in Zane's grasp. Remus, Remy, and Emerson had to hold Roman down, for he had his sword in his hand, and was pretty strong himself. They had to wrestle the sword out of his grip and pin him to the wall. Isaac had a hold on Logan, for the Microsoft Nerd was pretty weak.
When he was sure the trio was in the Dark Space now, Deceit had the other Darks let the Lights go. With a sinister smirk, he said, "It was a pleasure doing business with you all..." and one by one, they all disappeared.
Patton was still in a state of shock, for he froze. Roman reached down to grab his sword off the ground, while Logan adjusted his tie and glasses, for he too had a look of shock.
"Did... Did that really just happen...?" Roman asked them. The two other Sides slowly nodded.
They all just stood there for a moment, unsure what to do. It was Logan who broke the silence, but all three of them were thinking the same thing.
"We have to go find him."
