Deceit was lingering a bit longer in the Dark Scape, everyone else already left to corrupt the Light Sides. He was in deep thought with himself.
'I have to do this...'
'No you don't... you should've done any of this...'
'I don't need you, I can think for myself, Janus...'
'Damion... please... Let me take over, please. They've been through enough... You've done enough damage..'
'Janus, I said this isn't negotiable. I am in control right now, and you're not changing that.'
'Damion, please! It's time to be a good person now! Thomas can't handle all of them being corrupted! Plus, they don't deserve corruption... and Virgil needs help... he isn't supposed to be Paranoia again... They finally befriended Virgil and accepted him. Don't ruin that...'
Damion was quiet for a moment.
Janus pushed. 'Damion. Both of us together makes a two-faced Side. You are the embodiment of Lies- Deceit. And I'm-'
'You're Honesty. Janus, we've been through this. He needs me more than you... Honesty doesn't get anyone anywhere.'
'It does, actually. It builds relationships, shows people you can be trusted. Please. Let me take it from here...'
Damion sighed to himself, quiet. He was in deep thought.
'Fine.'
Janus nodded. Closing his eyes, he was able to gain full control, since Damion didn't try and stop him.
Deceit- Janus- quickly sunk down, into Thomas's living room. No one noticed he arrived, everyone was corrupting Roman, Logan and Patton.
Janus looked at them individually; Patton was sobbing uncontrollably in his corner,Zane was taunting him, standing over the poor boy withan evil glint in his eyes. Braxton was just standing there, looking- well- guilty. He didn't want to hurt anyone- truly Virgil's brother.
Logan was over next to the stairs, hands over his face. He was breathing heavily, slightly shaking. Remy, Isaac, and Emerson were crowding him, shouting at how he was useless, how no one ever listened to him, how his opinions didn't matter. Even though it didn't sound too bad, things like this were things to corrupt a Side. You insult how they can't do their job right, and they slowly start to believe it.
Janus glanced over at Roman, who was in the same condition as the other two. He was sinking to the floor, tears sliding down his face. He kept glancing up at Virgil, who was smirking dangerously at him.
That's when he realized it.
The three Sides weren't corrupting because of everyone telling them they were worthless...
It was because they lost their emo friend to the Dark...
All of this chaos was too much for Janus to bear... he couldn't stand this.
"ENOUGH!"
Everyone jumped in surprise at him yelling, and every single person turned their heads to Deceit, that's who they thought it was anyway.
"All of you, leave them alone. Step away from them," Janus said, motioning the Dark Sides to step away. They did so, very confused. Logan, Patton and Roman scrambled over to each other, trying to comfort each other.
"Why are you doing this?" Logan asked in a shaky, yet angry voice. He was glaring daggers at Janus.
"I'll explain later. Right now, all of you, except Virgil, leave," Janus said, turning to the Darks. Still very confused by the sudden outburst, they did so. Virgil lingered, and walked over to him.
